【摘要】 澳大利亚是主要的移民国家之一,移民来自世界各地,自20 世纪80 年代以来,澳大利亚国内政治稳定、社会安定、民族关系融洽。这与澳大利亚推行的多元文化政策密不可分。澳大利亚在建设兼收并蓄、多元文化的社会方面被认为是最为成功的国家之一。这些规范作为澳大利亚价值观的核心已牢固确立。“多元文化”这个词描绘了当今澳大利亚文化及种族的多样性。文化及种族的多样性是澳大利亚宝贵的国家财富,因而得到了历届政府的支持和鼓励。澳大利亚有着令人羡慕的国际名声:种族宽容、文化多元。澳大利亚的多元文化政策源于处理大量移民来到澳洲所产生的问题的需要。移民政策的演变经历了三个主要阶段:同化阶段、融合阶段,多元文化阶段。今天的澳大利亚人包括来自许多不同文化的人们。正是这些人为澳大利亚提供了多种语言和文化。而这是一个潜在的优势,为澳大利亚迎接经济全球化的挑战作好了准备。澳大利亚丰富的文化遗产源自所有这些人的贡献。在包容的民族精神的基础上,澳大利亚成为一个独特的、多元文化的社会。本文对多元文化政策展开比较全面的透视分析,首先从比较澳与其他移民国家的多元文化政策入手,归纳出它的内涵、形成的过程、实行的原因、贯彻执行情况; 然后,阐述了作为多元文化政策理论基石的多元文化主义的理论意义和局限性; 最后,分析了澳大利亚多元文化政策成功实践带给我们的启示。本文以澳大利亚多元文化政策的产生、发展的过程作为整篇文章的主线,并依托理论支持,力求内容和而不散。更多还原

【Abstract】 Australia is one of main countries which the worldwild immigrants move. These immigrants come from diverse cultural backgrounds. Australia has been regarded as a harmonious community since 1980s. It is closely related with the multicultural policies in Australia. Australia has succeeded in building a multicultural community. Multiculture as the core of the values is established firmly in Australia. The word, Multiculture, describes the diversity of cultures and races in Australia today. The diversity is the most precious national wealth, and therefore is supported and encouraged by all previous governments. Australia has an admiring reputation for racial toleration and multiculture. These people who come form different cultural backgrounds provide various languages and cultures for Australia. This is a potential advantage which makes Australia ready to welcome the challenge of economical globalization. Australian cultural heritage is originated in their contributions. Based on the national spirit of toleration, Australia becomes a unique and multicultural society. Firstly, this thesis analyzes the multicultural policies in Australia comprehensively such as their connotation, reasons, characteristics. Secondly, the thesis expounds the policies’ theoretical meaning and limitations. Finally,the thesis analyzes the policies’enlightenments.更多还原
