基于USB Host和ARM技术的大容量数据采集统的研究

【摘要】 数据采集是将被测对象(外部世界、现场)的各种参量(可以是物理量,也可以是化学量、生物量等)通过各种传感元件作适当转换后,再经过信号调理、采样、量化、编码、传输等步骤,最后送到控制器进行数据处理或存储纪录的过程。可以说,数据采集是获取模拟世界中各种信息的最重要的手段之一,是沟通模拟世界和数字世界的桥梁。 随着计算机技术和数字信号处理技术的飞速发展和广泛应用,数据采集系统在越来越多的领域得到了更加广泛地应用,如雷达信号处理、数字图像处理、数字示波器、超声波检测以及虚拟仪器等领域。与此同时,随着不断涌现的电子新技术、新成果在数据采集领域的广泛应用,如高性能低功耗的新型器件、先进的ASIC集成电路技术、高性能的微处理器技术等,数据采集系统的功能也日益强大,性能也日趋完善。而随着计算机技术的迅猛发展,为数据采集系统实现智能化、微型化奠定了坚实的基础。 在数据采集系统得到越来越广泛地应用的同时,人们对数据采集系统的各项指标也提出了更高的要求。以本文论述的数据采集系统为例,要求采样分辨率为16位、采样速率为45KSPS、存储容量为20G~40G,同时要求功能强大的分析处理软件。 因此,在该数据采集系统中,采用了采样率达250KSPS的16位模数转换器AD7663将模拟信号转换为数字信号;采用了基于嵌入式USB Host数据存储的解决方案实现了将转换之后的数据存储到移动硬盘中;采用了高性能的ARM处理器—S3C44BOX作为系统的控制器实现对数据采集和数据存储的智能控制;并利用LabVIEW开发了分析处理软件实现对存储在移动硬盘中的数据的分析和处理。 本文论述的基于USB Host和ARM技术的大容量数据采集系统业已完成并已经得到了实际的应用,深受用户的好评。实际使用充分证明该数据采集系统的各项性能指标都达到了预期目标,工作稳定可靠,操作简单方便。本系统具有较高的性能价格比,具有一定的实用价值,既可作为通用的数据采集系统,亦可作为数字示波器、数字频谱仪等虚拟仪器使用。如果对已实现的功能进行优化,并适当增加一些功能如USB OTG、人机交互界面等,使得该数据采集系统性能更加完善,功能更加强大,使用更加简洁,数据分析处理能力更加完美。

【Abstract】 Data acquisition is reposeful the conversion the all signal of outside and field objectives by kinds of sensors, which is physical signal, chemical signal, and biological signal and so on. Then the signal is processed or recorded by the microcontrollers after signal modulation, signal sampling, quantization, coding and transferring. Data acquisition is the bridge to linking up analog word and digital word.With the fast development and widely application of computer technology and digital signal process technology, data acquisition system (DAS) is more widely applied in more fields, where the widely application of the constantly emerging electronic technology and achievements into data acquisition field, such as new high-performance and low-power device, high-performance microprocessor, etc, the DAS is stronger and more powerful than before. And fast development of computer technology has settled solid foundation for the thing that DAS realizes intelligent and microminiaturization.The high-demand to all index of DAS have been put forward, while it is more and more widely applied. Take DAS discussed in this paper for example, the 16 bit resolution, 45KSPS throughout, 20G to 40G data storage are required, meanwhile the powerful process software is also needed.Therefore the DAS in this paper adopts the 16-bit, 250KSPS analog-to-digital converter for converting analog signal to digital signal, adopts the mass storage data solution based on embedded USB Host technology for storage the digital signal into mobile hard-disk, adopts high-performance ARM processor for intelligently controlling data conversion and data storage and develops the process software by Lab VIEW language for analyzing and processing the data which stored in the mobile hard-disk.The mass storage DAS based on USB Host and ARM technology is already completed and put into actual application. And the application fully proves that all setting index of the DAS is reached. Because of its high-performance and lower-cost, the DAS can be not only a common data acquisition system, but also can be apparatus of virtual instruments such as digital spectral analyzer and so on.If the functions already realized could be improved or some new functions could be realized such as USB OTG, human-computer interaction interface, data acquisition system will have perfect performance; more powerful functions, more convenient operation and stronger ability of data processing.
