杜威的民主主义教育思想及其启示

【摘要】 美国教育家约翰·杜威(John Dewey)以崭新的视角构建了他的民主主义教育观,对美国乃至全世界的教育民主产生了深远的影响,深入探讨其民主主义教育思想的丰富内涵对于促进我国的教育民主化、推进社会现代化进程大有裨益。 本文从杜威教育思想形成的社会背景和理论基础着手,以民主主义为主线系统归纳出杜威教育理论的核心——民主主义教育思想,并以此为借鉴,探索真正适合我国国情的教育民主化的新思路。21世纪的今天,教育民主化已成为教育现代化的重要课题。我国的教育现状与理想的教育民主存在着不小的差距。杜威的民主主义教育思想启示我们要将民主的精神贯彻到教育领域,从教育公正、民主的教育决策与管理、民主平等的师生关系等三个方面,真正推进教育民主化进程。更多还原

【Abstract】 The American educator John Dewey’s democratic educational thought, formulated from a totally new perspective, has far-reaching impacts on the educational democracy in the U.S. and the whole world. An in-depth study into its rich contents would be very conducive to the democratization of education and the modernization of society in China.This thesis, based on a research into the social background and theoretical basis of the formation of Dewey’s educational thought, and especially on Dewey’s democratic philosophy, has arrived at the nucleus of Dewey’s educational theory, i.e. his democratic educational thought. Drawing a lesson from this, this paper goes on to explore a new way of thinking for the democratization of educational suited to the condition of our country. In the 21 century, the democratization of education has become an important task of the modernization of education. There is a wide gap between the desirable educational democracy and the present condition of education in our country. Dewey’s democratic educational thought fells us that we should carry on the spirit of democracy in the realm of education, and that we should promote the democratization of education in three fields: fairness in education, democratization of decision-making and management in education, and a relationship between teachers and students based on democratic and equal terms.更多还原
