【摘要】 高校合并办学,是20世纪90年代我国高等学校布局调整和高等教育体制改革的重要举措,也是我国高等教育进一步发展的重要组织保证。合并高校作为我国高等教育体制改革中的新生事物,无论是从理论还是实践上,都需要我们加强对它的系统研究。学科作为大学的基本组成单位,它在大学管理中起着牵一发而动全身的作用。合并高校的学科整合直接关系到高校合并的成功与否。面向经济建设、科技进步和社会发展的需要,精心重组、合理构建学科体系,是合并高校当前面临的重大课题。 本文就高校合并过程中学科整合这一问题进行了理论上的系统分析和案例研究。文章首先对学科、学科整合的内涵以及合并高校学科整合的背景进行了分析,接着提出了当前合并高校学科整合的现状与问题。基于此文章进一步提出了加快合并高校学科整合的观念和制度上的创新。最后对苏州大学在合并过程中学科整合的实践进行了案例分析。本文的主要观点可以概括为: 1、科技的发展,学科的分化与综合,当前社会对人才培养的需求以高校自身科研能力的提升为学科的交叉与整合提供了理论上的依据。 2、国外部分高校在人才培养,科学研究,社会服务等方面有着显著的成绩,这与其学科组织结构设置上的特色与创新有着密切的关系,并对我国合并高校的学科整合有着重要的借鉴意义。 3、合并高校在学科整合过程中,学科组织文化融合与创新是学科整合的前提和基础;学科组织结构的创新是学科整合的关键所在,学科组织管理方式的创新是学科整合成功的重要保证。矩阵式组织结构和学院制的实行可以为我国合并高校的学科整合提供理论上的依据。 4、苏州大学在合并过程中,学科整合对学校的发展产生了积极的影响,产生了交叉学科,促进了学校科研与学科的快速发展;但同时,也存在一些问题有待进一步解决,学校的院系设置过多过细,学校对跨学科研究组织机构的设置不够重视,这都不能体现出跨学科的特点,不利于学科的交叉与整合。更多还原

【Abstract】 The university combination is a significant manoeuvre to adjust the layout and to reform higher education system in 1990s in China; besides, it is an importance insurance of further development of higher education. Newly born, the combination deserves strengthened systematic research theoretically and practically. As an elementary part of university, discipline plays a crucial role in university management. Its integration is directly associated with whether university combination fails or not. Thus, it is a significant task to elaborately realign and rationally construct the disciplines to meet with the demand of economic construction, technological progress and social development.The article is devoted to a theoretically systematic analysis and to a case study of discipline integration in university combination. After analysing disciplines, the definition of discipline integration, and the concerned background, the article brings forward the status quo and problems in university combination. After this analysis, the paper proposes the updated concepts and systems in university combination. Last but not least, the paper makes a case study of Soochow University’s practice in discipline integration. The key points of the article is as follows:1 .The discipline’s mutual penetration and integration can find its theoretical ground from technological development, the discipline’s disintegration and synthesis, social requirements on talents cultivation and the promoted researching capability of university.2. Some overseas universities make great achievements in talents cultivation, scientific research and social service, and this is closely associated with their unique and innovative discipline arrangements. This can give Chinese universities a great reference.3. The harmony of disciplinary culture as well as originality is the basic ofdiscipline integration; the key of disciplinary combination lies in the originality of discipline arrangement structure. Matrix structure system and college system serve as a theoretical ground for discipline integration.4. The discipline integration exerts an active impact on Soochow University’s progress, leading to the birth of cross-linked disciplines and thus promoting the fast development of research and relevant disciplines. Meanwhile, some problems deserve to be resolved, such as excessively classified disciplines, and the insufficient attention paid to the cross-discipline research organs. These problems eliminate the advantages of cross-discipline and thus are detrimental to disciplinary penetration and integration.更多还原
