元数据集成系统研究及应用

【摘要】 随着信息与网络技术的发展,尤其是动态联盟、e化供应链、协同商务等的出现,使得企业内部及企业之间的信息交换比以往更加频繁,信息资源的共享已经成为现代企业之间一种重要的协作基础。然而,各个系统采用的元数据模型是互不相同的,信息系统之间存在异构性,使得信息不能真正实现语义上的共享,从而给信息共享制造了极大障碍。企业内部及企业之间不仅要实现数据共享,更重要的是要在元数据层次上实现共享即信息的语义共享。因此,元数据共享和集成的研究已成为该领域一个新的研究热点。 本文在概述信息系统集成的发展及目前研究现状的基础上,提出了元数据集成的思想。论文着重研究基于公共仓库元模型(Common Warehouse Metamodel,CWM)的元数据集成策略-CMMIS及相应的集成系统-MDWIS。给出了集成系统的流程,对系统的主要功能模块和关键技术进行了设计和阐述。并以大全集团信息系统为应用背景,基于元数据集成实现了集团财务信息的共享。本文的主要工作包括: 1.提出了元数据集成思想。在信息系统的集成过程中,信息供应链ISC的各个组件,都依赖于元数据来描述它们所要处理和转换的数据,即由元数据提供全面理解数据的结构和语义。利用元数据集成所提供的共享策略和机制,既实现了异构信息的共享,又有效提高了数据的质量。 2.提出一种改进的元数据集成策略以进一步降低元数据集成的成本。改进后的策略基于CWM公共元模型的方式,提供了每个元数据语义的一致理解,可以实现公共元模型和自身元模型的转换,不需要在每个元模型之间都建立一个元数据桥,从而降低整体的开销。 3.基于上述集成策略,设计并实现了一个元数据仓库集成系统。该系统包括元数据抽取、元数据建模、元数据映射、元数据转换及元数据存储等模块,给出了元数据映射、元数据转换和元数据存储等规则。因此系统能够集成各种类型的元数据,并方便了元数据之间的互操作。最后将集成系统运用到实际的企业应用环境中,实现数据共享和集成。

【Abstract】 With the rapid development of information and network technologies, especially the appearance of dynamic alliance, e-supply chain and collaborative business, information exchange within or between enterprises occurs more frequently than ever. Information resource sharing has become one of the main basis of co-operation among modern enterprises. However, different meta-data models adopted by different systems and information systems are isomeric, which make semantic information sharing incompletely thereby impede information sharing greatly. Not only data sharing, but also semantic sharing of information at metadata level must be achieved within or between enterprises. As a result, research on metadata sharing and integration has been focused on in this field.Aiming at the problems mentioned above, the thesis presents the conception of metadata integration based on the overview of development and study on information system integration, laying stress on the strategy of metadata integration of CMMIS based on CWM and its corresponding integration system MDWIS. During the course of studying MDWIS, this thesis shows the system flow first, and then describes chief functional modules and key technologies in detail. With the information system of Daq Group as an example, the financial information sharing has been achieved based on metadata integration.The main contribution of the thesis includes:1. The conception of metadata is presented. In the process of information system integration, various components of ISC depend on metadata to describe the data they’re intended to process and transform, in other word, metadata is responsible for providing structures and semantics which can fully understand data. Once the sharing strategy and mechanics are used, not only isomeric information sharing is achieved but quality of data is prominently promoted.2. An updated strategy of metadata integration is posed to further reduce integration cost. Based on public meta model of CWM, the updated strategy provides consistent understanding of each semantic of metadata. It can transform public and private meta model and doesn’t need to build a metadata bridge between every metadata, which reduces entire cost.3. Based on the integration strategy mentioned above, we design a integration system of metadata depositary which is composed of metadata extraction, metadata modeling, metadata mapping, metadata transformation and metadata storage etc. Ruleson metadata mapping, transformation and storage are given in the thesis, therefore the system can integrate all sorts of metadata which makes the interoperation between metadata much easier. Finally, we apply the integration system to practical enterprise environment and realize data sharing and integration.
