基于OGSA数字图书馆体系结构的研究

【摘要】 在数字化时代,一个个人、一个地区、一个国家获取信息能力的高低将会直接影响其竞争力。信息的重要性决定了对信息服务的广泛需求。社会的发展使得资源共享成为信息服务的必然,这在文化信息服务领域尤为明显,因此必须大力发展数字图书馆。数字图书馆作为一个海量、宽带多媒体网络系统,有很多需要深入研究的技术问题,包括数字信息资源的分布式创建与存储、不同格式数字资源的整合与检索以及异构系统平台的集成等等。数字图书馆体系结构设计是数字图书馆建设的前提,它对数字图书馆的发展和应用起着规划和指引的作用。“网格”是一个新出现的概念,代表一种先进的技术和基础设施,是继Internet之后信息领域的又一重大科技进步。网格作为一个集成的计算与资源环境,能够充分吸纳各种计算资源,包括硬件设备、通信能力、数据资料甚至人,并将其转化成一种可靠经济的信息处理能力。这种新技术的出现为数字图书馆体系的发展和规划提供一个新的可取方案。 基于以上目的,本文研究完成的主要工作包括: 第一,从阐述数字图书馆的概念入手,在多方整理和收集的基础上,对国内外数字图书馆的发展和现状进行论述,看到国外数字图书馆建设领先的优势和我国数字图书馆建设存在的差距,对存在的问题进行分析,提出相应的对策。 第二,给出了建立基于OGSA数字图书馆网格体系结构的思路,从总体结构和逻辑结构两方面阐述了数字图书馆网格体系结构。总体上看,数字图书馆网格是由若干个相关的节点组成,根据其共享资源的特征,可构成不同的虚拟组织。
【Abstract】 In the digital times, the ability to gain information will influence the power of the competition ability of a person, an area or a country. The most important thing is that it is a certain trend to share resources. So we must do our best to develop the digital library for its being used to share the culture resources.However, the digital library is a network system which has great capacity, broadband, multimedia, and so on. There still have many technical problems to be researched farther, including the establishment and storage of distributed digital information, conformity and search of various digital information, integration of the diferent construct systems, etc." Grid " is one newly concept, and standing for one kind of advanced technique and infrastructure, and is one great science and technology progress afterwards succeeding "Internet". The grid is integration calculation together with the resources environment, and can sufficiently accept the different calculation resources, which consists of hardware installation, communication capability, data information so far as to man, and transforms such into one kind of dependable economy message treatment capability. The digital library information system is supplied an advisable scheme, because the kind of newly technique emergence.Basing on these motives, the paper consists of these points:Firstly, beginning with by elaborating concept of digital library, it expounds to development and present situation of domestic and abroad digital library, and catches sight of the deficiencies in construct plan of digital library in our country, and analyzing the problem existed, and proposes the relevant counter advice.Secondly, it gives out ways and means that establish DL Grid architectural based on the OGSA, through two ways of whole structure and logical organization. See that DL Grid is consisting of several correlation nodes, and shares the resources features, and may constitute difference VOs in the total. Every one node has similarity structure, and the fundamental calculation and the service resources that such is possess may be in the interest of the entire digital library setup supplies the service.The grid in digital library may divides into the resources stratum and services layer and the application support stratum on the logical organization. The resources stratums consist of that high performance calculating machine, magnanimity storage and data bank reach else installation and software. The services layer is play core role in the DL Grid, and consists of the meta directory services, distribute administration the serving, digital library data storage service, the consumer administer serve and so on. In order to using DL Grid with make things convenient and the high efficiency, the application support stratum is in charge of supplying a Web interface and one series of convenient application assembling.Thirdly, the key technique such as metadata administration and information service, resource control, task management, secure control and user interface and so on in the grid of realization digital library was analyzed.Ways and means that establish architecture of DL Grid based on the OGSA is the innovation spot in this paper. Web Service resources (consists of both Web services and stateful resources entity) is the bedrock of interoperation, which is more high quality than the metadata, and compatible Web Service’s stander.In according to WSRF (Web service resources frame) which is the newly core standard of OGSA, universal and open a digital library is definited on GT4’s plant. Inthe end, it analyses a series of key technique of such realization of DL Grid.The architecture of DL Grid can be utilized to the utmost grid technique preponderance, also can be meeting function of the well-developed digital library system service demand, and may develop to supply the dependable guarantee to the approaching innovation, and achieve the promotion that is used from information service to serve up the knowledge service.
