虚拟仪器在实验教学中的应用研究

【摘要】 实验教学是在教师指导下学生运用一定的仪器设备进行独立作业,观察事物和过程的发生和变化,探求事物的规律,以获得知识和技能的一种教学方法。实验室的装备水平通常被作为一所学校教学、科研水平的重要标志,因此实验室建设应立足于高水平、高起点,跟踪国际先进水平,运用新技术、新知识,从而为培养高素质、具有创新能力的人才,创造优良的实验环境。然而,目前各级学校的电子技术实验室,现有的常规设备有的已经老化,有的技术上相对落后,有的仪器设备在教学中只用了其中的部分功能,还有许多功能派不上用场;另一方面,某些需要的功能又不具备,需购置新的设备。在实验教学时,实验内容的更新又会形成对仪器更新的需求,也造成一些仪器的闲置。以至于滞后的实验设备和死板的实验模式难以调动学生的主动性和创造性,从而在很大程度上制约了实验教学的发展和人才培养质量的提高,改革传统的实验教学势在必行。采用虚拟仪器技术是解决这一问题的途径之一。虚拟仪器(Virtual Instrument)的概念是美国国家仪器公司(NI)于80 年代中期提出来的。这一概念的核心是以计算机作为仪器的硬件支撑,充分利用计算机的运算、存储、回放、调用、显示以及文件管理等智能式的功能,把传统仪器的专业化功能软件化,使之与PC 机结合起来融为一体,这样便构成了一台从外观到功能都完全与传统硬件仪器相同,同时又充分享用了PC 机智能资源的全新的仪器系统。本文首先对虚拟仪器技术作了简要的概述,然后深入探讨了虚拟仪器实验室的软硬件平台,在此基础上重点研究了基于虚拟仪器的数字示波器和信号发生器的开发以及远程虚拟仪器系统的实现技术。第一章,简要介绍了虚拟仪器研究的背景和意义以及本文所作的主要工作。第二章,简述了虚拟仪器的概念、组成及其优点,然后探讨了目前进行虚拟仪器开发的工具,并最终确定本文采用的开发工具LabVIEW。第三章,对组成虚拟仪器实验室的软硬件平台进行探讨。其中,硬件平台包括DAQ 虚拟仪器、GPIB 虚拟仪器、VXI 虚拟仪器、PXI 虚拟仪器、USB 虚拟仪器和IEEE1394 接口虚拟仪器以及RS-232 虚拟仪器,软件平台包括VISA 库、仪器驱动
【Abstract】 Experiment teaching is that students use certain instrument and equipment to carry on the independent homework under the guidance of teacher, observe thing and take place and change of course, seek law of thing, in order to obtain knowledge and a kind of teaching method of technical ability. Equipment of laboratory as one school teaching, important sign of the scientific research level usually, so laboratory construction should base on high-level, high starting point, follow the international most advanced level, use the new technology, new knowledge, thus in order to train high-quality talents with innovation ability, create the fine experiment environment. However, the technological laboratory of school electron at all levels at present, existing some of routine equipment has already worn out, lag behind relatively on some technology, some functions that some instrument and equipment have been only used among them in teaching, a lot of functions can not be used; On the other hand, some function that need possess, take to purchase the new equipment. At experiment teaching, experiment renewal of content can form to instrument new demand, cause the stand-by of some instruments too. Experimental facilities and inflexible experiment that lag behind mode difficult to shift students’ initiative and creativity, thus restricted the development of experiment teaching and improvement of personnel training quality to a great extent, it is imperative in teaching to reform the traditional experiment. It is one of the ways to solve this problem to adopt the technology of the Virtual Instrument. The concept of the Virtual Instrument was put forward in the middle period of the eighties by the national instrument company (NI) of America. The core of this concept is that the hardware which regards computer as the instrument is supported, fully utilize intellectual functions, such as computer unique operation, memory, playback, transferring, showing and file management, etc., make it conbine with the PC together and combine traditional specialized function software of instrument, it is totally the same as traditional hardware instrument from appearance to function to form one like this, can enjoy brand-new instrument system of resources PC quick-witted fully at the same time. The thesis make brief summary to Virtual Instrument at first, then deep to probe into Virtual Instrument software and hardware platform of laboratory, key research based on Virtual Instrument digital oscillograph and signal generator develop on this basis and long-range Virtual Instrument implementation technique of system. Chapter one, background, meaning and job done of a thesis of studying in brief introduction. Chapter two, sketch the concept, composition and advantage of the Virtual Instrument, then probed into and carried on the tool that the Virtual Instrument developed at present, and confirm developing instrument LabVIEW of the thesis finally. Chapter three, carry on the discussion from making up the software and hardware platform of the Virtual Instrument laboratory. Among them, the hardware platform includes DAQ Virtual Instrument, GPIB Virtual Instrument, VXI Virtual Instrument, PXI Virtual Instrument, USB Virtual Instrument and the Virtual Instrument of IEEE1394 interface and RS-232 Virtual Instrument, the software platform includes VISA storehouse, instrument driver, application software. Chapter four, it is a content of key research of this text. At last chapter Virtual Instrument software and hardware research foundation of platform, utilize the strong function of LabVIEW to make a digital oscillograph and a signal generator.
