室温单分子/聚合体单光子源的光子统计特性
Photon Statistics of Single Photon Source at Room Temperature

【摘要】 本文在介绍基于三能级结构单分子光子源的基本原理和单光子统计测量的基础上,具体进行了以下四个方面的研究: (1) 理论上研究了利用Hanbury-Brown-Twiss(HBT)探测方法来记录两个单光子计数器响应的单分子光子源输出的每一个事件,给出了单脉冲的统计分布Mandel参数Q(T)的特点。同时利用ON(?)OFF动态模型对单分子光子源强度涨落进行了分析。 (2) 理论研究了基于HBT探测方式的单光子源,利用单光子和双光子统计几率PRS(1)、PRS(2),直接测量单分子光子源的信号背景比。在研究过程中同时考虑到单分子布居于暂稳态和探测器量子效率对测量结果的影响。在满足PRS(1)>>2(PRS(2)1/2)-3PRS(2)的条件时,研究给出了一种有效测量信号背景比的方法SBR=P2RS(1)/2PRS(2),并分析讨论了Mandel参数Q与信号背景比之间的关系。 (3) 研究了具有泊松统计背景的实际单分子光子源与理想双分子系统的光子统计特性,通过分析比较二者在具有相同平均光子数(?)时的Mandel参数,研究给出一种利用双光子的统计概率P(2)判别单分子的方法为P(2)<(2-((4-2(?)1/2)2/2。同时研究了基于单分子光子源的信号/背景比对测量结果的影响。 (4) 研究非理想探测系统对光子统计测量的影响。建立了一个非理想探测系统的光子统计测量的简单模型,给出了非理想探测系统下的单光子源Mandel参数的精确表达,并给出一个二次函数对单光子源的非理想探测进行校正。
【Abstract】 This thesis is based on the confocal microscopy techniques and the principle of single photon source generated by pulse excitation of a three-level configuration molecular system. We focus on the following four topics:(1) Theoretical research on the record of every incident outputted from the single photon source, which responding by two SPCM using standard Hanbury-Brown-Twiss (HBT) technique. It is given out the property of statistics distribution of single pulse Mandel parameter Q(T). In addition, we analyze the intensity noise fluctuation by making a ON(?)OFF model.(2) Considered the effect from triplet state in single molecule energy level, an explicit function is given for the signal-to-backgound ratio to photon-counting statistics. When PRS(1)>>2 (PRS(2))1/2 - 3PRS(2), we present an efficient method to determine the SBR of triggered single photons source, which shows SBR = PRS2(1)/2PRS(2). The expression of Q, as the function of signal-to-backgound ratio, has been obtained.(3) We theoretically study the photon counting statistics character of the real single molecular photon source with a Poissonian statistics background and that of an ideal double molecular system based on the standard HBT detection. Mandel parameter 0 of each source with the same mean photon n was analyzed. We have obtained an efficient method to distinguish single molecule by the two-photon statistics probability P(2) , which shows P(2)<(2-(4-2n)1/2)2/2. Additionally, we studied the effect of SBR of the single molecular photon source on the measured result.(4) The photon statistics measurement of a single photon source based on the HBT configuration with an imperfect detection system is studied. It is shown that the imperfect detectors, the imperfect beam-splitter and the unbalanced linear propagation efficiencies will reduce the single event Mandel Q parameter.
