基于MPEG-4的数字视频监控系统开发及应用

【摘要】 视频监控作为一种重要的安防手段已经有了一段很长的发展历史。现在,数字视频监控已经成为视频监控的重点发展领域,监控录像系统的产品正向着网络化、高清晰化、智能化的方向发展。嵌入式系统在监控系统中的使用也很有潜力。人们正关注着更人性化、更能囊括当前先进技术的多媒体标准。在众多标准中,H.263、MJPEG、MPEG-1、MPEG-2 已经比较成熟, H264、MPEG-4是人们当前正着力研究的标准。按照MPEG-4 的标准,图象质量可以达到DVD 的效果,而数据量要比MPEG-2 要低得多。现在使用嵌入式MPEG-4 系统产品,图象质量已经能达到VCD 的图像效果。因此用嵌入式开发出的高清晰度、稳定的、多路的、低成本的MPEG-4 监控录像系统不仅会在当今世界取得技术领先的优势,还可以形成极大的产品竞争力。本人在数字视频监控技术方面进行了深入的学习和研究,主要在vweb 硬件平台上对系统进行设计和调试。并认真学习了MPEG-4 多媒体压缩标准,着重研究了它的第二部分(视频编解码),实现了客户端的软件解码和播放。客户端软件主要功能是:解析输入的系统数据流,分流成为视频数据流和音频数据流、视频数据流的解码、音频数据流的解码、视频播放的实现、音频播放的实现、视频音频同步等。最终实现了在奔四的PC 上实时播放4 路D1 格式的MPEG-4 视频流。本文主要从监控系统的实际出发,在视频基础和多媒体标准及其编解码算法方面做了简单介绍,并着重突出了自己所做的工作(如系统的构成、视频流解码库的实现、客户端系统流解码播放库的实现等)。
【Abstract】 Video surveillance has been developed for a long time as a security method. Digital video surveillance has been an important domain nowadays. Products for surveillance recording system is required to be networked, with high resolution and low bit rate. Meanwhile, embedding technology is potential in surveillance systems. People now take attention on the standard which can involve the most advanced technology. More humanistic multimedia standard, which includes current advanced technology, is being paid attention to. Among these standards, H.263, MJPEG, MPEG-1, MPEG-2 are already mature. While the H264 and MPEG-4 are the standards being researched with great attention. Accord MPEG-4, the image can be with DVD quality and its data stream is much lower than MPEG-2’s. The product with embedded MPEG-4 system is already having VCD image quality. Thus, multi-channel MPEG-4 surveillance recording system with high resolution, excellent stability and low cost, which is developed by using embedding technology, can gain the technology advantage in the world but also with great rivalship. I, as the author of this thesis, studied and researched video surveillance technology in-depth and mainly designed and debugged the system on VWEB platform. Meanwhile, I learnt earnestly multi-media compression standard MPEG-4, paid most attention on its second part (video encoding/decoding) and realized software’s decoding and playing on client. Main functions for client software are resolving and demuxing input system bit stream to audio/video stream, decoding audio/video stream, playing audio/video data and audio/video synchronous. Finally, I succeeded to play 4 channels MPEG-4 video stream with D1 format real-timely on P4 PC. Based on fact situation of surveillance system, the thesis briefly introduces video basis, multi-media standards and encoding/decoding method. Meanwhile, it gives prominence to my working such as system structure, realization decoding for video and decoding playing for client system etc.
