城市建筑物三维可视化研究

【摘要】 地学可视化(Geo_Visualization)是目前GIS和地图学的研究热点之一,本文以地学可视化中的具体应用领域——城市建筑物的三维可视化为研究对象展开具体研究。 在综合分析、对比不同三维数据模型的优缺点及其适用范围的基础上,本文选用MultiPatch模型来实现城市建筑物三维可视化工作。同时,本文对城市建筑物三维可视化中的系列关键技术进行了研究。在逐一解决这些关键技术的基础上,本文利用AO进行二次开发,增强了ArcScene环境下城市建筑物三维建模与可视化功能以及利用OpenGL+VC6.0环境从底层开发实现了城市建筑物三维可视化功能。 论文共分五章。第一章是前言,提出了本论文要解决的问题,回答了为什么要去研究此问题和分析了国内外在这个问题上的研究现状和动态,并在此基础上提出了本论文的研究思路和目的。第二章论述了在实现三维可视化过程中需要解决的关键问题和技术:包括三维数据模型、二维数据向三维数据的转换、三维数据的显示以及三维显示效果的增强这四个方面的主要关键问题和技术。第三章具体介绍本论文研究的第一套方案:利用现有的3D平台软件实现建筑物三维建模。在具体分析了ArcScene已经具有的功能和其存在的不足基础上,利用其二次开发工具AO成功开发出两个增强其三维建模的功能模块:自动产生建筑物三维屋顶DLL和多重纹理生成功能模块。第四章具体介绍本论文研究的第二套方案:利用OpenGL自主开发城市建筑物三维可视化软件。具体介绍了软件开发的目标,方案以及功能模块的实现等。最后第五章对论文的研究成果进行了概括和总结,并提出下一步需要继续研究的工作。

【Abstract】 Geo-Visualization is one of the hotspot issues of GIS and Cartology. Basing on this background, this dissertation focuses on the study of 3D-Visualization of City Buildings which is the applying area of 3D-Visualization in Geography.After analyzing and evaluating the disadvantages, merits and applying spectrum of different 3D data models ,this dissertation makes use of one of the facialmodels-MultiPatch to achieve 3D visualization of city buildings. At the same timethis dissertation also analyses and has a study of the series key technologies in the processing of doing 3D visualization of city buildings. On the base of study of the series crucial technologies the main works this dissertation has achieved are as follows: Applying ESRI’s COM object library -ArcObject , this dissertation has developed two modules which have enhanced the modeling and displaying abilities of 3D city buildings in ArcScene environment and Applying the OpenGL library this dissertation has developed a 3D city building displaying software with own property right.There are five chapters all together in the thesis. The first chapter is preface, which introduces the problem the thesis will solve, gives the answer for the question why the thesis will study this topic and reviews the current development of 3D visualization and also illustrates briefly the aim and methodology of this systematic research. The second chapter demonstrates the crucial problems and technologies the thesis must solve during the implement of 3D visualization. Those crucial technologies are the building modeling technology of city buildings, the conversion technology from 2D data to 3D data, the displaying technology of 3D data and the enhancing technology of 3D displaying. The third chapter focuses on the first methodology of doing 3D visualization with city buildings: Making use of the commerce 3D GIS software to do the 3D visualization with city buildings. Applying ESRI’s COM object library -ArcObject, this dissertation has developed two moduleswhich have enhanced the modeling and displaying ability of 3D city buildings in ArcScene environment. The main functions of those two modules are 3D roof modeling and multi-texture generating of city building. The forth chapter present the software developing of 3D visualization platform facing city building with OpenGL and introduces aims of software developing and plans, realizing mode of function modules and so on . In chapter five, the research results are concluded. Furthermore, future studies are discussed, too.
