基于ARM的网络显示器硬件系统的设计

【摘要】 嵌入式系统是指以应用为核心,以计算机技术为基础、软硬件可裁减,以及适应应用系统对功能、可靠性、成本、体积和功耗严格要求的专用计算机系统。作为嵌入式系统的核心,嵌入式处理器目前常采用8位或16位微处理器。但由于这些微处理器系统的运行速度、寻址能力和功耗等问题,已较难满足相对复杂的嵌入式应用场合。 ARM公司自1990年正式成立以来,在32位RISC(Reduced Instruction Set Computer)CPU开发领域不断取得突破,其结构已经从V3发展到V6。由于ARM公司成立以来,一直以IP(Intelligence Property)提供者的身份向各大半导体制造商出售知识产权,而自己从不介入芯片的生产销售,加上其设计的芯核具有功耗低、成本低等显著优点,因此获得众多的半导体厂家和整机厂商的大力支持,在32位嵌入式应用领域获得了巨大的成功,目前已经占有了75%以上的32位RISC嵌入式产品市场。在低功耗、低成本的嵌入式应用领域确立了市场领导地位。 在所有ARM处理器系列中,ARM7TDMI微处理器系列应用最广,采用ARM7TDMI微处理器作为内核生产芯片的公司最多,同时其性能价格比也最高。本系统中S3C44BOX即是使用ARM7TDMI内核设计的一款ARM微处理器。本文在介绍S3C44BOX的基本结构和工作原理的基础上,介绍了基于S3C44BOX的系统设计全过程,包括存储器系统,电源、晶振和复位电路,串行接口电路,JTAG调试接口电路,LCD和触摸屏接口电路以及以太网接口电路的设计和调试。最后介绍了对电路板设计时应注意的问题。

【Abstract】 Embedded system means regarding using as the core , based on technology of the computer, the software and hardware can be cut down, and meet the special-purpose computer system that the application system required to the function , dependability , cost, volume and consumption strictly. As the core of the embedded system, the embedded processor often adopts 8 or 16 microprocessors at present. But because these microprocessor operation speed , seek location ability and consumption ,etc. it has been more difficult to be satisfied and relatively complicated to use the occasion embeddedly. Since establishing formally 1990, ARM Company develops the field and make the break-through constantly in 32 RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer) CPU, sells the intellectual property right to every large semiconductor manufacturer in the capacity of IP provider all the time, never gets involved in the production and sales of the chip. It has established the market leading position on the embedded application of low consumption , low cost.In all ARM processor series , ARM7TDMI is the widest that it uses, the performance-cost ratio is the highest too. S3C44B0X in this system is a ARM microprocessor using ARM7TDMI kernel to be designed. This text has introduced basic structure and operation principle of S3C44B0X, the whole course of system design based on S3C44B0X especially. Including design and debug the memory system, Power , Crystal oscillator and Reset circuits, Serial interface circuit, JTAG debug interface circuit, LCD and touch screen interface circuit, Ethernet interface circuit. Finally , introduced the question to should be paid attention to at the time of the board design of the circuiting.
