【摘要】 信息是企业最重要的资源之一,是企业运用科学管理、决策分析的基础。传统的面向事务处理的业务系统,在积累数据信息的同时,对如何利用这些信息显得力不从心。数据仓库系统是在业务系统的基础上发展而来,旨在帮助用户充分利用宝贵的信息资源,做出正确的决策。在数据仓库系统各个组成部分中,ETL是影响数据仓库系统成败与否的关键所在,ETL的开发也是整个数据仓库系统开发过程中工作量最大、耗时最长的部分。然而,在目前开发ETL系统的过程中,存在着一些问题,其中最典型的就是元数据管理混乱的问题。针对这个的问题,本文提出了一种基于公共仓库模型(common warehouse metamodel,CWM,CWM)开发ETL系统的思想。本文首先分析了元数据在数据仓库系统中、特别是在ETL系统中的重要作用,明确了元数据对ETL过程的控制作用。然后,讨论了CWM的内容及其对ETL过程提供的支持,在此基础上,提出了基于CWM对ETL过程进行建模的设计思想,并且描述了具体的设计过程。然后进一步讨论了系统其它部分的设计和开发过程,最后,讨论了该系统在泰兴医保决策支持系统中的应用。更多还原

【Abstract】 Data Information is one of the most important resources for enterprises.It’s the basis of scientific management and making right decisions.The traditional information system for transaction processing can only contribute to producing data information,but not to analyzing them.Data warehouse system is developed from the traditional information system,aiming at helping users to make the best use of the data information for making decisions.Among several components of the DW,the performance of ETL is the key factor of the successfully implementing the DW system.Developing ETL system is also the most time-consuming and work-consuming part of the whole development of the DW. However,there are some problems at the process of developing ETL system.One of the most typical problems is the confusing management of metadata.As for this problem,we propose a new idea for developing ETL system - basing the ETL’s development on the CWM(common warehouse metamodel). Firstly,we analyze the function of metadata in the DW system,especially in the ETL process,and confirm the commander’s role of metadata in the ETL.Secondly,we talk about the contents of CWM and the abroad support of CWM for ETL.Then,we propose our idea of designing the ETL process - to design the ETL process on the basis of the CWM.Further more,we give the design of other pats of the ETL system.At last,we talk about the realization of ETL system and the application of ETL in the Tai Xing’s Hospital Decision Support System.更多还原
