虚拟现实技术在服装虚拟产品设计中的应用研究

【摘要】 随着全球市场竞争的不断加剧和信息技术的不断发展,如何快速地响应市场,低成本、高质量满足客户的需求是摆在现代企业面前的一道重要难题。产品设计与加工的全球化、网络化和虚拟化已成为现代制造业发展的特征,也是增强企业竞争力最重要的方法之一。 虚拟产品设计技术是以计算机仿真和产品生命周期建模为基础,集计算机图形学、人工智能、并行工程、网络技术、多媒体技术和虚拟现实技术为一体的综合技术。本文结合该项技术,探讨了其在服装制造业中的应用。文章从产品设计的实际需求出发,在原有服装CAD技术的基础上,结合服装三维设计和协同设计的新要求,采用虚拟现实技术,对面向服装制造业的虚拟产品设计技术进行了研究,给出了一个服装虚拟产品设计原型系统。该系统为基于虚拟现实环境下的服装产品设计提供了一种新的方法和途径。 本文遵循提出问题、解决问题的思路,面向服装制造业,开展研究,主要内容如下: 首先,在国内外相关文献的基础上,研究了虚拟现实技术及其软件实现。特别研究了虚拟现实建模语言(VRML)的工作机理及其交互技术。 其次,在参考国内外相关文献的基础上,根据已有的一些虚拟设计系统的设计及其实现,针对服装制造业,给出了服装虚拟产品设计原型系统。 再次,提出了改良曲面片法,并基于该方法建立了服装三维模型。本文实现了参数化的人台模型,该模型在人体参数与三维模型之间建立了一定联系,便于用户控制。本文还实现了二维样板到三维衣片的建模,该模型的建立基于立裁思想。衣片建模的成功,为实现2D样板到3D模型的显示转换技术提供了一种新的方法。在人台和衣片模型的基础上,本文实现了虚拟样衣。

【Abstract】 With the increasing global competition and the rapidly developing information technologies, modern companies have to face the difficult problem to promptly meet the market requirements with lower cost and higher qualities. The trends of globalization of the product design and manufacture, working with the Internet and Virtual Reality technology are the key features of modern Manufacture Industry. They are also the most important ways to enhance the companies’ competitive power.Virtual Product Design Technology (VPD) is based on the computer simulation and the model of product life circle. It includes Computer Graphics, Artificial Intelligence, Concurrent Engineering, network technologies, multimedia technologies and Virtual Reality (VR). The paper discusses the application in the Garment Industry. On the basis of the existing Garment CAD Technology, this article studies VPD in the garment field from the real design requirements of virtual design and cooperative design. As a result, it puts forward a Garment Virtual Product Design System (GVPDS) based on VR. The system offers a new way to design garment in the virtual reality environment.The paper makes the study mainly focused on the Garment Industry. The main contents are as following:Firstly, the paper studies VR and its software realizations with the help of the related articles. The mechanism and interactive technology of Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) are studied in detail.Secondly, the paper sets up GVPDS on the basis of the research above and the existing Virtual Design Systems in other field. GVPDS is focused on the Garment Industry.Thirdly, the paper puts forward an improved surface modelingmethod and successfully applies it to make 3D garment models. It also realizes a parameterized body model. Certain relations, which make the model easy to control, are established between the 3D model and the body parameter. Besides, 3D pattern models are realized based on draping knowledge. It is a new method to realize garment conversion from 2D to 3D. Based on these models, the article establishes virtual garment.Fourthly, the paper realizes the GVPDS in the local environment after combing the 3D garment models and the interactive methods together.Fifthly, VRML formatted garment models are set up by points set and Proto node in VRML. Certain interactive methods based on EAI are designed according to the features of VRML models.Finally, the realization of a VRML based cooperative platform is discussed. The paper realizes part of the platform based on the VRML models and the interactive methods.GVPDS is a new way to apply the VR to the Garment Industry. If further study is made, GVPDS will be a good platform for garment design in the garment companies.
