意大利文艺复兴时期嫁妆体系下的女性地位研究

【摘要】 本文的目的在于考察意大利文艺复兴时期嫁妆体系下女性的实际状况和地位。融合着政治、经济、法律、文化、风俗习惯等社会因素的婚姻嫁妆,连接着女性与两个本来相互独立的家庭,关系着她们成年后人生道路的选择和对财产的分享,影响着她们在社会和家庭中的处境。对它的研究有助于我们从新的视角来把握和理解文艺复兴这一西方社会转型时期意大利的社会特点。本文首先分析了意大利文艺复兴时期的社会状况,论述婚姻对这个时期的重要作用以及嫁妆的历史变迁。在第二章节,文章着重分析了这一时期为女儿提供嫁妆的缘由和嫁妆的来源。提供嫁妆受社会状况和风俗的影响,嫁妆来源的多样性反映了社会对嫁妆的关注,而女儿在这一系列过程中没有任何自主权。在第三章节,笔者着重分析了嫁妆的处置方式和女性的另一女性群体寡妇与嫁妆的关系。妻子对嫁妆的所有权影响了她周围的人。城邦法律保护失却婚姻以后的寡妇,肯定她们索回嫁妆的权利。最后,本文认为应从两个方面看待这个时期嫁妆体系下女性地位问题。一方面,拥有嫁妆的女性在社会和家庭中的影响具有一定的影响力。另一方面,女性对自己的嫁妆并不享有真正的支配权,仍受到男性权威的控制和影响。更多还原

【Abstract】 The purpose of this paper is to review the women’s actual situationand status under the dowry system in Renaissance Italy. Dowry in marriageis associated with some social factors, including of politics, economy,law,culture and traditional customs and so on. It connects two independentfamilies and relates the women’s choice in their life and the propertyshares, further affects the women’s situation in family and society. Thestudy of it can help us to have a further understanding of the socialcharacteristics of the Renaissance from a new visual angle.Firstly, this paper tends to analyse the social background of theRenaissance Italy and discusses the important role played by marriagealong with the dowry historical variance. Secondly, in the second chapter,the reasons which fathers provide daughter with dowry and the dowrysources are analysed specially. In renaissance Italy, the social factorsand traditional customs have influence on the dowry. The dowry diversityreflects attentions paid by people. In this series of course, the womenhave no self-determination on this matter. Thirdly, in the third chapter,this part analyses the way by which the dowry is disposed and the relationof between the dowry and widow. The dowry ownership owned by wivesinfluences the people around them deeply. The law of this states admitsthat the widow take the right to renew their dowry when marriage is outof control. Finally, it is all-sided to review the women’s status of theRenaissance Italy under the dowry system. On the one hand, the women whoown certain properties including of the dowry widen their influence infamily and society. On the other hand, the women of the age haven’t ownedthe actual right to dominate their dowry. In fact, they haven’t got ridof the force imposed by the patriarchy。更多还原
