膨胀珍珠岩缓冲衬垫的开发研究

【摘要】 包装中大量使用的缓冲衬垫主要是EPS和EPE,虽然其具有良好的缓冲性能低廉的成本和简单的生产工艺,但其包装废弃物,不能自然降解,而且回收困难,造成了严重的环境污染,受到了绿色壁垒和能源资源危机的困扰,因此,开发环保型包装材料势在必行。本课题利用膨胀珍珠岩的质轻环保和廉价易得的特点,再加入环保型粘合剂与合适的发泡剂,及其他助剂,经过充分均匀混合后放入模具,加热、加压使料浆(膨胀珍珠岩、粘合剂、发泡剂和其他助剂的浆状混合物)失去水分而粘合,同时在粘合过程中发泡成型定型,而制得膨胀珍珠岩缓冲衬垫。论文在简述了现有缓冲包装材料存在的主要问题和环保型缓冲材料研究进展的基础上,通过大量实验优选粘合剂和发泡剂等助剂,选定料浆体系,进行发泡成型定型工艺实验;分析了衬垫发泡成型定型机理,并与泡沫塑料发泡成型定型原理进行了比较;研究了粘合剂和发泡剂用量、压力、对衬垫密度(发泡倍数)的影响,在此基础上确定了料浆的配比;对衬垫的静、动态缓冲性能,蠕变和回弹性进行了测试分析,为了客观的评价其缓冲性能,并与EPE、EPS、蜂窝纸板进行了对比分析,结果表明衬垫具有与EPE相同缓冲特性,适合于产品质量和产品脆值比较小的电子类产品缓冲包装。
【Abstract】 EPS and EPE are used widely in buffering cushion. Their capabilities are perfect, and they are very cheap .The processings are simple, but they can’t degrade ,so it is difficult to callback them. That results in environment pollution .The development of EPS and EPE is disturbed by green barrier and energy sources crisis. It is a trend that there is no pollution in packaging materials. In the item, using expanded perlite’s low density, no pollution and cheapness, we add no polluted bond and appropriated vesicant to perlite, and then put the mixture of them into mould after being mixed up adequately. The mixture loses water and agglutinates by heated. At the same time, it foams, forms and shapes .In this paper, the problems in packaging materials and development on environment-friendly materials are summarized. On the basic, appropriated bond and vesicant are selected by experiments. On this basis, we did experiments about foaming, forming and shaping. The mechanism is discussed and contrasted with that of foam. The effects of bond, vesicant, pressure on density of the cushion are discussed. On this basis, The components and the proportion of the mixture are ensured through experiments. The static and dynamic compressing, creep and rebound are tested. In order to estimate fairly the capabilities of the cushion, the results are compared with those of EPE, EPS and honeycomb paperboard. The cushion has the same buffering property as that of EPE. The small electronic products can be packaged by the cushion.
