【摘要】 大众传播和社会结构存在着紧密共生和相互依存的关系。以往的研究更多地关注大众传播技术的改变对社会结构的影响，很少讨论大众传播在社会阶层分化中的作用。本文试图从社会转型的角度出发，探讨大众传播在社会分层过程中发挥的作用，以及在转型过程中大众传播功能的转变。文章的基本脉络是，在描述中国当代社会分层现状和主要阶层对媒介的控制和使用的基础上，就大众传播在中国城市、农村、区域分布的现状，分析了转型恢复时期大众传播应当承担的社会角色、地位和影响力。进而阐述了中国当代信息传播的“知沟”差距，以及随着我国社会阶层结构的分化，传播语言出现了的分群化趋势。文章在分析转型时期大众传播对社会各阶层的作用后，指出了大众传播应当充分利用自身优势，在促进各阶层的社会化、协调社会矛盾、促进社会阶层流动和文化整合方面发挥作用。本文认为，在社会转型过程中大众传播正从国家的“喉舌”功能向“公共空间”的功能转变，这不仅是媒介发展的结果，也是社会分层的需要。当前大众传播的发展要以维护社会稳定，促进社会和谐发展为己任，定位自身角色，发挥自身影响。大众传播发展过程中出现的主流化趋向，实际上已偏离了为公众利益服务的职业责任，使弱势群体有更加边缘化的危险。本文进一步认为，大众传播应在适度的范围使用其影响力，避免伤及无辜。城市化是促进阶层合理流动的重要方面，大众传播在城市化进程中及时、准确地将信息传播给受众，促进了社会分层和社会阶层的合理流动。更多还原

【Abstract】 The close intergrowth and interdependent relation exist in mass media and social structure. Past research pays close attention to the impact on social structure of change of mass media technology more, seldom discuss the function in the social stratum splits up of mass media. This text is it proceed from the angle of making the transition in the society , probe into mass media divide function that give play to among the layers of course in society to attempt, and the transition of the mass media function in the course of making the transition. The basic train of thought of the article is, On the basis of describing Chinese contemporary society divides into the one layer of current situations and control on media of main stratum and uses, current situation distributed in the city , countryside , area of China on mass media, social role , status and influence power of analysing the mass media of period of making the transition and should act. And then has explained the " knowing the ditch " disparity of China’s contemporary information dissemination, and with the division of the social stratum’s structure of our country, propagate the trend of hiving off and melting that the language appears .The article is analysing the mass media of period of making the transition to the function of different levels of the society, point out mass media should fully utilize one’s own advantage , in promoting the socialization of different levels , social contradiction of coordination , promoting the social stratum to flow and combine the respect and function with culture. This text thinks , mass media is being transformed from the " mouthpiece " function of the country into function of" public space " in the course of making the transition in the society, this is not only a result of media development, but also the need which the society divides layer. The development of mass media will promote the society to develop into the important task harmoniously in order to safeguard the social stability at present, orient one’s own role, give play to oneself to influence .The mainstream appearing is tended to in the mass media evolution, in fact has already deviated from the professional responsibility that has served for public interests, make the disadvantaged groups have danger of the marginalisation.
