一个网络服务应用集成模型
A Model of Application Integration Based on Web Services

【摘要】 电子商务的发展改变着企业的商业模式。Internet在将企业与客户,供应商以及合作伙伴更紧密的联结起来的同时,也使企业面临着复杂多变的商务环境。企业迫切需要构建一个功能齐全且性能优良的应用集成系统,以优化资源整合,适应应用更新并提高响应速度。分析现有的点对点集成模式和基于消息代理的集成模式,属于专有的集成技术,耦合紧密且难以扩展。提出一种新型的基于Web服务的应用集成模型,以一种标准和开放的,平台独立和语言无关的技术,统一处理企业内部应用系统之间以及企业与企业之间的应用集成。Web服务应用集成模型构建于.NET平台,位于企业防火墙内部,提供服务访问安全性的保证。模型契合Web服务体系结构的原则,将企业已有应用系统功能封装成Web服务作为服务提供者,访问服务的后台应用扮演服务请求者,并实现企业UDDI为私有的服务注册中心,提供服务发布和发现并支持动态集成和故障恢复能力。模型包容Web服务协议栈的多态实现,以通用的WSDL/SOAP/HTTP互操作栈实现异构平台间的互通和应用集成,以专有的局域网协议栈优化局部集成性能和保护企业原有投资。在封装Web服务的过程中,利用.NET框架的COM互操作特性和平台调用机制,访问企业已有应用系统所实现的COM组件和DLL库,重新包装其功能和数据并以Web服务的形式暴露给其它应用。利用J2EE框架的Web服务包将企业的Java应用也封装为Web服务。利用Web服务的互操作性,.NET平台和Java平台的异构应用可以松散耦合的集成在一起。基于开放标准的Web服务技术,提供一致化的编程模型和集成平台,使得可以利用现有的技术和工具,以一种通用的方法对企业系统进行应用集成,即为Web服务应用集成模型的设计思想。
【Abstract】 The development of e-business has been changing the business patterns of enterprises. Now enterprises are faced with complicated and changeful business environment, when Internet tighter and tighter couples them with their customs, providers and partners. Each enterprise demands urgently for an application integration system that has full functions and well performance, and can be used to optimize enterprise resources utilization, to suit to frequent application modification, and to improve response capacity. Analyzing the existing point-to-point and message agent-based integration patterns, we classify them as proprietary methods that are tightly coupled and hard to expand. So we put forward a new integration model based on web services architecture, which solves uniformly integration problems among applications within enterprise and between them with a standard and opening, platform and language independent technology.The web services-based application integration model builds on the .NET platform, and locates inside the enterprise firewall to provide secure access to web services. The model corresponds to the principle of the web services architecture that includes three roles. In the model, we encapsulate functions of enterprise applications into web services and use them as service provider, and we use back-end applications that access web services to act as service requestor, and implement e-uddi as private service registry which support to service publication and discovery, dynamic integration and fault-recovery. The model also reflects the polymorphism of web services protocol stack. We can achieve the interoperability and application integration between different heterogeneous platforms by applying the general WSDL/SOAP/HTTP stack, or we can optimize local integration performance by using proprietary LAN-stack in some special case.In the process of constructing web services, we utilize the COM-Interoperability and the platform-invocation services of the .NET framework to access the COM components and DLL libraries implemented by <WP=5>enterprise applications. We expose their functions and data to other applications by encapsulating them as web services. Similarly we use Java API for web services to encapsulate Java applications. By means of the excellent interoperability of web services, we can integrate loosely all the heterogeneous applications whether they are based on .NET or J2EE.By virtue of its opening standards, web services provide a unifying programming model and integration platform, with which we can use existing technologies and tools, so that application integration inside and outside the enterprise can be done with a common approach. That is the design idea of our model.
