基于MiniGUI的便携式网络测试仪设计与实现

【摘要】 近年来,随着我们逐步进入网络时代,人们对信息网络的依赖程度越来越高。网络测试是保证网络高性能、高可靠性和高可用性的基本手段。而网络测试仪作为网络测试中一种最重要的工具,它的重要性正日益引起人们的关注。本文首先阐述了网络的基本体系结构,包括网络分层的意义以及每层对应的具体协议。并介绍了网络监控的概念以及意义,简要介绍了网络监控中几个最重要的标准和协议,包括MIB、SNMP、RMON等。在网络测试仪中还涉及到了网络拓扑发现,因此本文还阐述了网络拓扑发现的理论依据以及目前使用较多的网络拓扑发现算法。文章的中间部分论述了整个便携式网络测试仪的设计方案。针对网络测试仪的应用特点和设计要求分别从硬件平台、软件平台以及图形用户界面支持系统三个方面对所选方案进行了深入的论证和分析。整个系统采用了模块化的设计方法,分别介绍了Ping模块、主机发现模块、网络路径搜索模块、网络设备监测模块、网络数据包分析模块和网络拓扑发现模块,给出了系统的整体架构设计图。作为重点,本文详细论述了基于MiniGUI的便携式网络测试仪的实现方法。首先介绍了硬件平台的基本架构,接着针对系统的软件平台,详细介绍了嵌入式Linux软件平台的组成、微内核的定制以及建立文件系统的过程。然后介绍了图形用户界面支持系统的结构,包括MiniGUI服务器进程和客户进程的实现原理。阐述了上层的功能模块的工作流程,详细介绍了拓扑发现模块所采用的算法,并以Ping模块为例叙述了模块的实现方法。最后在分析了系统的结构与性能的基础上,针对现有系统的不足提出了改进意见,对后续的开发工作提出了一些意见和建议。

【Abstract】 Recently,with stepping into the era of the network progressively, we tend to depend on the information network more and more. The network tests are the basic means to guarantee high performance, high dependability and high usability of network. As an important tool of network tests,network tester is gaining people’s concern day by day.At the begining, this thesis expatiates the basic network structure. It consists of significance of network delamination and material protocals of each delamination. The conception and purport of network supervisal are introduced too, include some important criterions and protocals, such as MIB, SNMP, RMON.Topology discovery is involved in our network tester, so some principles and maturity algorithms of Topology discovery are expatiated in the begining too.The middle of the article designs the whole handheld network tester. The thesis put forward in-depth analysis on the application characteristics and requirments on network tester from three aspects, hardware platform, software platform and GUI system. The whole project is modularized, they are ping module, workstation discovery module, network route search module, network equipment supervison module, network data packet analysis module and network topology discovery module. The whole design buleprint is brought forward in the end.As a kernel, the thesis detailedly discusses the specific implementation of the handheld network tester based on MiniGUI system. the article presents the basic structure of hardware platform,then, the structure of GUI system is referred, includes the implementation principle of MiniGUI server process and client process. At last the thesis discusses the work flow of function modules and the algorithm of network topology discovery module, and takes ping module as example to illustrate the implementation method of function module.Based on the analysis of handheld network tester, the thesis present improvement against the limitation of existing system, and bring forward some ideas and advices for next work.
