UMTS切换子系统的设计与研究

【摘要】 移动通信已经渗透到人们的工作、生活当中。人们对移动通信的要求越来越高,希望能提供更高的速度和更多的业务。无线通信技术取得了重要的突破,由FDMA和TDMA发展到现在的CDMA,使无线接口的传输速率大大提高,为满足人们的要求创造了条件。3GPP制订了第三代移动通信的标准,采用业务与控制分离、控制与承载分离的核心网分层结构,以及采用CDMA的无线技术,适应了当前对移动通信的要求。本文根据3GPP制订的第三代移动通信UMTS的协议标准,以及通信网络的实际情况,研究了3G_MSC_Server中的切换子系统的设计与实现。本文先介绍UMTS整个系统网络,阐明3G_MSC_Server在网络中的地位和作用。接着分析切换的目的、切换类型、切换策略与切换性能评估,为切换子系统的设计提供理论的指导。然后详细介绍切换子系统的总体设计,分析切换的具体流程,对切换流程实现的关键地方提出多种设计方案,比较各种方案的优劣,确定实现方案,如切换信令的缓存、切换端口管理及信令重定向、切换号码的管理、切换记录包、切换子系统的消息调度等。在实现切换子系统的过程中,本文提出如下创新的成果:切换子系统的独立设计,减少切换与其他功能模块之间的耦合,便于切换模块的升级;切换子系统对承载的控制,切换不等待MGC的部分返回消息,缩短切换时间;信令缓存策略;切换子系统对Iu链路、MAP链路的管理;切换号码的管理;切换子系统的调度等。

【Abstract】 Mobile communication has already permeated people’s work and living. Expecting more and more to mobile communication, people hope to be offered higher speed and more services. Wireless communication technology has made the important break-through, growing from FDMA and TDMA to present CDMA. It makes the transfer rate of the wireless interface improve greatly and has created conditions for satisfying people’s request. 3GPPs establish the third generation of the standards of mobile communications. It adopts the core network of services layer separate from control layer and control layer separate from bear layer, and adopts the wireless technology of CDMA. These standards meet the present requisition on mobile communication.Basing on the standards of UMTS that were established by 3GPP and the reality of the communication network, this article studies the design and realization of the handover subsystem in the 3G_MSC_Server. This article introduces the whole UMTS network and expounds 3G_MSC_Server position and function in the network. Then it analyses the purpose of handover, the type of handover, handover strategy and handover performance index. It offers the theory for the design of the handover subsystem. Then it recommends overall design of the handover subsystem in detail, analyses the concrete flow of handover. It puts forward many kinds of design plans on the key place of the flow realization, and chooses the best.During the process of realizing the handover subsystem, this article puts forward the following achievement that innovates: The independent design of the subsystem, reduce the coupling between the handover module and the module of other functions. It is easy to update the module; Putting forward the control flow between handover subsystem and bearer; The signaling reserved strategy; The management of the handover subsystem about channel; The trigger mechanism of messages, etc.
