基于USB接口的数据广播终端的设计与实现

【摘要】 目前,各大电视台陆续采取数字广播系统通过现有的同轴电缆对广大用户终端提供数字电视极其多媒体服务表明有线电视数字化已经进入了普及阶段。提供高质量的视音频效果和丰富的多媒体信息是数字电视产业发展的主攻方向,广播式数字电视系统的终端设备是展现这些服务的窗口,直接影响到用户对提供数据广播服务运营商的支持和评价。在市场上现主要有数字电视机顶盒(Set Top Box)和数据广播接收卡两种接收终端设备,前者与电视接口,侧重于体现数字电视的画面质量和声音效果;后者与计算机接口,利用计算机强大的数据处理能力实现数据广播的多媒体服务。本文主要讨论了数字电视系统中基于USB接口的数据广播终端的设计与实现。文中首先概述了欧洲和美国数字电视系统的两大标准和数字电视广播的发展现状,然后简明扼要地介绍了MPEG-2 系统层标准和数据广播接收卡设计中的四项关键技术:PID过滤技术,USB数据传输技术,固件编程技术和FPGA+USB接口芯片的体系结构。基于本文提出的FPGA+USB接口芯片的硬件体系结构,论文详细说明了系统设计方案。对可编程逻辑器件的设计及实现部分进行了详尽地说明。接收卡的各项指标最终达到设计要求,在7Mbps的码率下能够长时间持续而稳定地工作,经过我们大量的工作和实践,接收卡硬件、驱动以及应用程序的相互间配合趋于完善,在武汉东太信息有限公司联调成功。
【Abstract】 Nowadays, each domestic TV stations begin to transfer Digital TV and multimedia service singal to enormous terminal users through coaxial cable, it indicates that Digital TV will be popularized very soon. Providing high quality video and audio programs and abundant multimedia information is crital to DTV industry development, and terminal devices of Digital Video Broadcasting system are windows to show these service information, so the performance of terminal devices directly affects user’s impression and support of DTV operator. In the market, there are two kinds of receiver terminal, Set Top Box and Digital Broadcasting Receiver Card, STB interfaces with television, mainly represents the quality of picture and sound of DTV, Digital Broadcasting Receiver Card interfaces with computer to realize multimedia information service of Digital Broadcasting due to powerful processing ability of computer. This thesis mainly discusses the design and implementation of USB Digital Broadcasting Receiver Card. Two main DTV standard from Europe and the United States, development of DTV broadcasting is introduced first, then discuss the systems standard of MPEG-2 and the four key technology of USB Digital Broadcasting Receiver Card, which are the PID filter implementation, data transfer through USB, firmware programming and FPGA+USB hardware system architecture are introduced explicitly.Based on the FPGA+USB hardware system architecture, the overall design scheme of USB Digital Broadcasting Receiver Card will be put forward. The hardware design are mainly concerned. After the design and implementation of FPGA part are discussed in details.The system at last meets requirment, can work constantly and stably at 7Mbps rate, After our hard work and practice, the system hardware, driver program and application program cooperates perfectally to transfer valid data, we succeed in system debugging at Dongtai Information Ltd. Co. Wuhan.
