基于H.323的VoIP终端的设计与实现

【摘要】 由于价格低廉和对网络的高效利用等优点,VoIP成为当前通信行业中发展最快的应用服务之一。而H.323是VoIP的一个重要协议标准,是技术最成熟的VoIP协议标准,也是VoIP领域应用最广泛的协议标准。H.323定义了四种主要组件:终端、网关、网守和MCU。终端是VoIP/H..323的一个重要组成部分,它直接面向用户,为用户提供语音通话功能和其他功能。VoIP终端的技术实现有基于PC的、有基于硬件Phone的,且多数是基于PC的。本文作者所在项目组的目标是瞄准低端市场,研制一种高性价比、方便使用的基于H.323协议的VoIP终端,它是一种基于硬件Phone的嵌入式系统。项目组经过一段时间的努力,将H.323协议和PA1688嵌入式芯片结合起来,成功研制出了KE1000。KE1000具有H.323规定的终端基本功能,并具有简便的操作管理功能,因此投入市场后取得了较好的市场效果。作者在此基础上成文,介绍了嵌入式系统的体系结构、开发环境和设计方法,包括嵌入式设计尺度对嵌入式系统设计的影响;其次介绍了H.323协议的体系结构、协议栈和呼叫过程等;然后分析了KE1000的系统设计和实现方法,包括功能在软硬件中的划分、硬件体系设计和软件体系设计、硬件资源分配等,还包括软硬件模块的功能介绍,以及KE1000的一些模块的实现方法等。然后介绍了KE1000的测试。最后对KE1000做了总结并提出了一些改进设想。

【Abstract】 Because of various benefits, such as low price, high efficiency of using network, etc., VoIP has becme one of the services that grow at the fastest speed in telecommunication industry.H323 is one of important protocols of VoIP, and is the most mature technological VoIP standard, and is the most common applied VoIP standard.H.323 protocol defines four main components: terminal, gateway, gatekeeper, and MCUs. Terminal is an important part of H.323/VoIP system, it offers users the function of voice telecommunication and others. There are two main technologic implements of VoIP terminal: based on PC and based on hardware Phone. And the most are based PC, The purpose of the project group that the author participated is to aim at low layer market,and to work out a VoIP terminal that is high performance/price and easy to use based on H.323, It is a embedded system based hardware Phone. After working hard to combine H.323 protocol with PA1688 embedded chip,we successfully developed out KE1000. KE1000 provides the basic functions that be defined by H.323 and simple and convenient operating and management functions, so it makes good winning after entering market.The author writes this article based on the project,and he first introduces embedded system’s architecture,development environment and design technology, including design metric’s influence on embedded system’s design. secondly introduces the architecture,protocols stack and call procedure of H.323. then introduces KE1000’s design and implement, including mapping functions into hardware and software, hardware’s architecture design, software’s architecture design, and hardware’s distribution, as well as introducing the functions of hardware modules and software modules. Then introduces KE1000’s tests. eventually, the author makes a summary of KE1000 and puts forward some advanced ideas for it.
