【摘要】 信息管理机构所拥有的大量传统馆藏资源，是人类文明发展的见证和成果，影响着社会政治、经济、科技、思想、文化等方方面面的进步。计算机和网络技术的飞速发展，不断促使人们在数字时空中重建“信息王国”，而馆藏资源数字化就成为信息内容建设的基础。 馆藏资源数字化是一项系统工程，需要整体考虑各个细节。近年来，国内外信息管理学界纷纷聚焦于馆藏资源数字化的理论研究，并展开一系列实验与实践。在明确数字化目的、对象和原则的基础上，关于馆藏资源数字化方法的探讨成为最具现实意义的研究热点。 本文以馆藏资源数字化方法为研究对象，主要从数字化方法的需求分析、选择、应用、评价等方面加以分析、探讨和总结，力求构建一个较为完善的“馆藏资源数字化方法论”体系。具体而言，文章主要有以下几个部分： 一．引言。分析馆藏资源数字化趋势，综述目前的国内外数字化形势，提出“馆藏文献数字化方法研究”这一课题的意义所在，并简述本文思路。 二．馆藏资源数字化需求。以图书馆、档案机构、博物馆和影视机构为例，论述不同信息管理机构应从各自需求出发，针对不同的数字化对象制订相应的数字化方案。 三．数字化方法的选择。影响数字化方法选择的因素有：数字化目的、数字化内容、数字化流程、数字化成本和其它制约因素；为满足数字信息采集要求，应选用适当的数字化方法形成一定类型的数字信息。 四．数字化方法的应用。数字化过程可分为前期和后期两大阶段：在前期工作中，模数转换的质量与效率可通过硬件设备、软件支持和格式标准等手段来控制；在后期管理中，信息标引与检索、传送与发布是数字化流程不可忽略的重要步骤，必须充分发挥所选方法的优势。 五．数字化方法的评价。从系统论、“原则-方法”论出发，将数字化方法的目标、选择、应用和效果指标化，为馆藏资源数字化项目的数字化方法评价活动提供参考。更多还原

【Abstract】 Information management organizations always possess abundant traditional collection resources, which have witnessed the developments of human civilization and affected the advancements of social politics, economy, science, technology, ideology and culture, etc. With the rapid progress in computer and network science, establishing a "Kingdom of Information" is proposed in cyber-space as well as in the real world, which is based on the digitization of traditional collection.Accordingly, domestic and overseas researches on information management science have recently focused on the digitization of traditional collection, with lots of experiments or practices having been carried out. Digitization projects’ aims, objects and principles are paid high attention, moreover, the methodology for the digitization is attracting more and more notices.In this dissertation, the author analyzes the requirements, selections, applications and evaluations of different digitizing methods, tries to establish a self-contained system of "methodology for digitization of traditional collection". The paper briefly consists of five parts as following:A. Introduction. It summarizes the domestic and overseas latest development of collection resources digitizing research and practices, states the thesis’s main purport, and formulates the paper’s outline.B. The requirements of digitization. It illustrates the different requirements in different information management organization, which desire compatible schemes on digitizing method.C. The selection of digitizing method. It analyzes the factors that inevitably affect the selection, such as the digitization projects’ aims, items, costs and other additional necessary conditions.D. The application of digitizing method. It elaborates the application of digitization method in the whole digitization working flow. In the former digitizing phase, the quality and efficiency of conversation can be controlled by hardware, software, related format standards and Internet protocols; in the latter digitizing phase, it is necessary to apply appropriate method to capturing metadata, information retrieving, digitized collection propagation and issuance.E. The evaluation of digitizing method. According to the systematic theory and principle theory, it shows the indexes on how to evaluate the methodology of a digitization project.更多还原
