【摘要】 “女性哥特”一词的最早提出是在1976年——在《文学妇女》中，英国女性主义文论家艾伦·摩厄斯将“18世纪以来女性作家创作的哥特小说”定义为“女性哥特”。 身为女性就能创作出女性的文学吗?从女性文学的角度来看，女性哥特的定义应该修改为：女性作家创作的、表征了女性意识的哥特小说。 女性哥特对女性意识的表现有何特殊性? 对这一问题，本文以英国的女性哥特为例，借用拉康的他人理论从两个方面进行了研究： 一 观照女性哥特自身的发展，研究其文本层及创作层对女性意识的表现，认为：女性哥特表现了女性主体如何在意识上摆脱他人的奴役，形成自我。 二 将女性哥特与哥特小说相比较，得出其在表现手法上的基本特征： 1 在与他人的意识冲突中表现女主人公的自我意识； 2 恐怖往往来自女主人公内心，是女性迷失自我后的恐怖感； 3 象征性的哥特古堡是女主人公的精神归依之所，故事往往发生在女作家的当下和本国。更多还原

【Abstract】 "Female Gothic" is defined firstly by Ellen Moers. In Literary Women, she claims that the Female Gothic is "the work that women writers have done in the literary mode that, since the eighteenth century, we have called the Gothic."Is it enough to write "Female Literature" who is female? Through Fminist Study, we think it must be redefined to be the Gothic novel which the female writes and presents the female consciousness.What’s the female consciousness in "Female Gothic"? What are the specialities of "Female Gothic" compared with "Gothic novel"?Using Lacon’s"’Autre’ Theory" to read the Female Gothic novels in English, the answers will be found from two aspects.Studing the history of the Female Gothic novel in English, we can find its main idea. That’s how women to break away from other persons’ consciousness suppression.Comparing with "Gothic novel", we can find the specialities of "Female Gothic".1 It always present the "female self consciousness" of the heroine through the consciousness conflicts between the heroine and the hero.2 The horror comes from the heroine’s heart because she lost herself.3 The symbolic Gothic castle is the female writer’s spiritual home.
