【摘要】 当前，随着全球科技信息化和经济一体化的突飞猛进，城市不仅在全球活动和地方事务中的地位更加重要，而且越来越多的代替国家成为世界经济竞争中的独立单元。面对全球化竞争带来的双刃剑，如何提升城市竞争力已成为每个城市急需解决的热点问题。 国外学者于二十世纪九十年代开始了对城市竞争力的研究探索，近年来我国一些研究机构和有关学者对城市竞争力也进行了许多有益的研究，并且结合中国的实际情况提出了自己的理论和指标体系。但是直到现在，无论是在国外还是在国内，关于城市竞争力的研究还没有一套成熟的、得到学术界广泛认可的理论及评价指标体系，对城市竞争力的研究还处于探索与实践中。 本文结合国内外城市竞争力研究的有关理论及经验，运用城市地理学、城市经济学等学科的知识，建立了有关城市竞争力评价的指标体系。选取了与呼和浩特市的经济、社会、环境状况相近的西北四个省会及首府城市和内蒙古自治区内的四个主要城市，在两个层面上进行比较。利用主因子分析法，得出以上各城市的城市竞争力的排序，并从中找出呼和浩特市同它们存在的优势及差距。 在综合分析呼和浩特市城市竞争力的基础上，得出了呼和浩特市城市竞争力提升中存在的优势、劣势及潜力。最后针对上述的优势、劣势及潜力，提出了提高呼和浩特市城市竞争力措施和建议。更多还原

【Abstract】 With the acceleration of the integration process of world economy, the rapid development of economy and society makes cities play more and more important role in the development of the country as well as the region. Facing with the globalization, the research of how to improve the competitiveness of cities has become a great new significant subject for every city.Scholars in China have been doing some productive research and investigations on this issue recently and put forward certain theories and assessing system of their own whereas overseas began their studies in the early 90s of last century. However, no single stereotype has been formed and deemed as widely accepted so far, leaving room for debate and revision theoretically or practically.By combining the theory of urban competitiveness and knowledge of urban geography, urban economics as well as other related fields of study, forming an estimation index system of urban competitiveness. Selected four cities in northeast part of China and four main cities in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, using Factor Analysis find out the advantage, disadvantage and potential in the urban competitiveness of Hohhot city.Finally the principle and measure of upgrading urban competitiveness of Hohhot are put forward.更多还原
