Semantic Web的研究及其在网络教学系统中的应用

【摘要】 语义Web(Semantic Web)是下一代的万维网(World Wide Web),是为了解决现在Web上的信息缺乏计算机能够理解的语义这个问题。 本文的主要内容是研究语义Web环境下的知识表达、本体构造、查询推理和基于语义Web的网络教学问题。针对本体论(Ontology)语言OIL(Ontology Inference Layer或Ontology Interchange Language)的原语在描述公理和规则方面的不足,利用OIL的开放性和可扩展性,并按照W3C的语义Web标准,定义了OIL的描述原语在逻辑公式、关系代数公理和查询推理三方面的扩展。针对现有网络教学中的难题:如知识库不能很好地共享和重用、计算机难以理解知识的语义、人机之间缺乏交互性、以学生为中心的探索式的学习难以实现等,本文把语义Web应用于网络教学,构造了部分教学本体知识库;实现了网络教学环境下的个性化的查询推理系统;并建立了语义Web下的计算机支持的协作学习(Computer Supported Collaborative Learning,CSCL)模型,对CSCL系统的实现具有指导意义。

【Abstract】 Semantic Web is put forward by W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) to solve the problem that the information on the World Wide Web lacks semantic meaning which can been understood by the computer.The main content of the dissertation is to research the knowledge representation, Ontology’s construction, search & inference in the Semantic Web field and e-Learning based on the Semantic Web. As a language for constructing Ontology on the semantic web, OIL hasn’t enough primitive to describle axioms and rules, but it is open, extendable and the extension of it is encouraged. So the paper extend OIL on the basis of the semantic Web standards recommended by W3C. The extension includes logic formula primitive, relation algebra description primitive and search & inference primitive. The paper build a search & inference system with the help of Frame Logic inference engine which had already been created by others. Semantic Web is applied to the e-Learning system to help solve the following problems, such as "it is difficult for knowledge base to be shared and reused", "computer can’t understand the semantic meaning of knowledge", "human can’t communicate with computer successfully", "Inquiry Learning focusing on students is in trouble" etc. Partly teaching ontologies are built referencing the building standards of teaching resource. A personal search & inference platform is realized for e-Learning. The paper also establishes a CSCL(Computer Supported Collaborative Learning) model which can direct the building of CSCL system based on Semantic Web.
