弹性分组环公平算法与融合子层研究

【摘要】 弹性分组环(Resilient Packet Ring,RPR)是近年来出现的一种城域骨干网技术,IEEE802.17工作组正在进行弹性分组环的标准化工作。本文简介弹性分组环的关键技术与协议规范,重点探讨处于核心地位的公平算法机制;根据目前协议草案(V2.2)的规定,分析了在带宽分配过程中出现的振荡问题,并在OPNET中构建仿真模型进行了相应的仿真分析。本文还研究了IEEE802.17 MAC层和现有城域网物理层规范的融合技术,有助于IEEE802.17协议平滑的融入现有的网络体系结构,并对弹性分组环的节点MAC层实体设计与弹性分组环组网实践提供了有益的指导。

【Abstract】 Resilient Packet Ring (RPR) is a new solution method to metropolitan area network (MAN). IEEE802.17 Working Group is developing the RPR standard as a MAC .layer protocol independent of physical layer. This paper discusses the key technologies of RPR and the criterions of IEEE802.17 drafts, and then analyzes the fairness algorithms (FA) in bandwidth distribution with emphasis. And on the base of the RPR simulation model in OPNET, the oscillation problems of bandwidth distribution are discussed with simulation experiments. In addition, the paper expatiates the reconciliation sublayers between IEEE802.17 MAC layer and physical layers of metropolitan area network, which are important to the comprehension and realization of the RPR protocol.
