【摘要】 修学旅游作为一种人类实践的历史源远流长，在各个国家和地区乃至世界的教育史、文化交流史和旅游史上，都占有非常重要的地位。探索修学旅游现象及其规律，是旅游史研究中的重要课题。近代中国海外修学旅游的发展是中国从封闭被迫走向开放，并与世界文化进行互动交流的产物，是伴随着外国人大量涌入中国进行经济侵略和文化渗透的产物，这种特殊的历史背景决定了近代中国海外修学旅游具有强烈的政治内容和功利性质。旅行者通过游历不仅给古老中国带来了西方文明的一些新气息，同时也把中国文化尤其是旅游主体所负载的旅游文化传播到大洋彼岸的西方文化中心。近代中国的海外修学旅游不仅扩大了中国人的眼界，而且推动了中国近代旅游业的起步，在中国旅游史上写下了光辉的篇章。从目前的研究现状来看，各类近代史著作和史料中，对近代中国旅游活动的记载和描述极为匮乏和零散，对近代中国旅游史的研究分析也不深入。特别是对近代国人走出国门考察西方的这一历史现象，多局限于从文化交流史或教育史的角度分析，极少有人从旅游文化的角度对近代中国旅游现象及其规律进行把握，因此这一领域至今仍属旅游学研究中较为薄弱的一部分。本文从旅游文化的角度出发，对修学旅游发展的脉络进行了一一梳理，重点是对近代中国海外修学旅游的时代特点和历史地位进行研究。文章从近代中国海外修学旅游产生的特殊历史背景入手，通过对近代中国海外修学旅游的类型和时代特点的把握，着重论述了近代中国海外修学旅游在加速中国文化的近代化转型、推动中华民族旅游性格的重塑、促进近代中国社会风尚的趋新等方面的重大意义。更多还原

【Abstract】 As a kind of social practice, the study tour had a long history. It had played an important role in the educational history, the cultural communication history as well as the tourist history. So it is a significant topic to research into the phenomenon and the law of the study tour.In the modern times, the imperialist countries poured into China to unfold the economical aggression and cultural infiltration. And China was compelled to open its closed door to communicate with the western world. Because of the special background in modern China, the study tour abroad had strong political contents and utility qualities. The modern travelers had introduced the western culture into China, at the same time, they had propagated Chinese tourist culture to the western culture center. Chinese modern study tour abroad not only expanded Chinese people’s vision, but also promoted the emergence and development of Chinese modern tourism. It had written an excellent page in Chinese tourist history. ,Nowadays, there are very few materials about modern Chinese tourism. The researches into this topic are not thorough, yet. As for the phenomenon that modern Chinese people walking out of China to learn experience from the western countries, most researchers just study it from the cultural communication or educational point of view. And very few people research into it from the tourist culture angle. So it is still the weak link in the tourist research field.This paper analyzes the history of the study tour in tourist culture perspective, and the key points are the characteristics and the significance of the study tour abroad in modern China. Firstly, it presents the special historical background of the study tour in modernChina. Then, it summarizes the different kinds and the characteristics of the modern Chinese study tour abroad. Finally, this paper discusses its influence upon the modern society, including: accelerating the modernization of Chinese culture, promoting the remolds of Chinese national travel characteristics, and bringing about the changes of the social vogue in modern China.更多还原
