固化剂乳化型水性环氧树脂体系的研究

【摘要】 随着对环境保护的要求日益严格,不含挥发性有机化合物(VOC),或低VOC,或不含有害空气污染物(HAP)的体系成为环氧体系新的研究方向;其中水性环氧树脂体系的研究已成为一个热点 我们选取水性环氧树脂体系中的固化剂乳化型水性环氧树脂体系作为研究方向,通过实验合成了一种环氧树脂改性多胺固化剂,这种固化剂自身可溶于水,且对于环氧树脂具有较好的乳化作用。在实验过程中,选取E—51环氧树脂与三乙烯四胺为基本原料,以水为介质进行反应,合成产物不需要分离处理,直接得到改性胺水溶液;该工艺改变了以往用过量的脂肪族多胺进行反应,反应完成后需抽真空去除多余的胺,并采用封端剂进行处理的繁琐工艺,降低了对设备的要求及原材料消耗,简化了工艺。 在固化剂合成基础上,又进行了红外、DSC分析,考察了固化剂的结构、水性环氧体系的反应性能及固化产物特性等。经实验表明,该固化剂的分子结构为环氧树脂分子两端连接多元胺盐结构;其固化反应按逐步加成聚合机理进行,固化剂与环氧树脂的配比可按等物质的量原理计量。在实际应用中,该固化剂与E—51环氧树脂的配比范围较宽,最佳固化配比为E—51:固化剂=10:7.2。由DSC固化反应放热曲线可见,该体系可作为中低温固化体系使用。根据国家标准GB7124—86,采用单搭接拉伸强度试验方法,测得该水性环氧体系对钢片的平均拉伸剪切强度为19.8MPa,其性能与同类溶剂型胶粘剂相当。在对其粘接性能研究的基础上,用水基环氧胶粘剂浸渍玻璃布,先使水挥发,再压成复合材料,探索其作为水基复合材料的可行性。本课题还进行了其它应用领域的研究尝试,进行了水性环氧树脂涂料的配置及其性能的初步研究。

【Abstract】 With the stricter requirement of enviromental protection,the epoxy resin system which is non-VOC or low VOC and low HAP has been paid more attention to, and the study on waterborne epoxy resin system has been a popular topic.The waterborne epoxy resin system which is emulsified by curing agent is studied in our research. A kind of polyamine curing agent modified by epoxy resin is synthesized ,which can be dissolved in water and can well emulsified epoxy resin. In our research, the curing agent is synthesized with E-51 epoxy resin and a -methylacrylic acid in water phase, the product doesn’t need segregate. Through this method ,the original process can be simplified, in which great amount polyamine is required and the extra must be removed by means of vacuum equipment and the product must be treated by terminated agent. By doing so energy and raw materials can be saved.On the basis of the preparation of curing agent, by the means of infrared spectral analysis and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), the structure of curing agent, the reactivity of the waterborne epoxy resin and the characteristics of the cured product were investigated. It is shown that the structural formula is polyamine terminated epoxy resin and the curing mechanism is step-growth addition polymerization. The proportion of the curing agent and E-51 epoxy resin is equivalent. In the pratical application ,the range of ratio is more widely, and the optimum ratio is 10:7.2.The admixture of the curing agent and E-51 epoxy resin can be cured in moderate temperature, the sheer stress of the bonded sample (the adherend is steel flake) is 19.8 MPa, which is correspond with homogeneous system which is dispersed in organic solvent. On the basis of study on adhesive characteristic,the feasibilities of the waterborne epoxy resin system used as composite materials and coating were studied .
