虚拟现实技术及其在矿井中的应用

【摘要】 虚拟现实技术是近年来发展起来的高新技术,在航空航天、建筑等工程领域和基础研究方向已取得令人瞩目的成就,本论文在Windows9x/NT环境下,通过Visual C++调用OpenGL图形库中的函数,开发出了虚拟矿井系统软件,其目的是在计算机上虚拟出传统的矿井三维实体形态。对煤矿安全生产、矿井优化设计和计算结果的可视化具有指导意义。 本文首先论述了三维绘图所使用的主要工具OpenGL的功能、工作结构、绘制原理及其在Windows中的实现方法;并提出了两种矿井虚拟现实系统三维图形建模方法;详细说明了虚拟矿井系统软件开发的总体设计思想以及系统的整体构架和各个功能模块。 论文中采用了OpenGL图形库的基本绘图函数进行三维图形的模型设计,并详细给出了立井、拱形巷道、梯形巷道以及工作面支架和井底运输巷道设备的三维图形设计方法;并着重分析人机交互与视点漫游功能的技术在系统中的实现;在占用有限资源的前提下,为了提高场景实时显示速度,论文中采用显示列表和模型淘汰等技术,并编制出了一个虚拟矿井实例。 最后,本文就研究中取得的成果和存在的不足进行了总结,并对后续的相关研究提出了建议。

【Abstract】 Virtual reality as a high-tech is developed in recent years. It has already accomplished outstanding achievement in aviation and spaceflight, architecture and etc. The paper discusses how to develop the virtual mine system software by Visual C++ calling the functions in OpenGL under the environment of Windows 9x/NT. The purpose of this paper is to fulfill virtual mine system. It has significance to mining safety, mine optimum design and visualization etc.Firstly, this paper concisely introduces OpenGL, which is a 3D graphical tool, about its function, working structure,’drawing theory and implementing method in Windows system. Then the two methods of three-dimensional graphics modeling are put forward. In the following, the paper describes the total design thought, frame, and function module of the simulation software of virtual mine.The paper mentions the design of three-dimensional graphics modeling in the mine such as shaft, laneway, and equipment of transport and mining. Human-Computer interaction and viewpoint rambling in the demo system are realized so that the simulating staff may look at circumstances from different viewpoint and positions. Under the precondition of limited resources holding, the contradiction between the fidelity of image display and real-time feature of system interaction process is better resolved with using of display list and model culling technology. An example of the virtual reality system of mine is provided.At last, Progress and shortcoming of studies presented in this paper are concluded ongoing research works are proposed.
