【摘要】 在女性主义文学研究中，母亲形象这个话题不仅具有一般意义，而且更具有某种特殊性和复杂性——因为母亲与一般意义上的女性相比，还更有其需要仔细辨认、梳理的身份角色及其神话色彩的象征意义，尤其在中国这个一直以道德立国、而后这个道德图式又被不断毁弃的社会时代中。 本文于是选取了20世纪不同时期中的女性诗人冰心、舒婷和翟永明，集中探讨了她们笔下的母亲形象，以此显示其文化含义变迁及其社会、历史文化根源。20世纪初的冰心，处在传统社会与现代社会相交的一个剧烈震荡时期，在新旧思想文化的相互激荡中，她一方面开始对传统母亲形象有所怀疑、批判，另一方面仍然延续着传统母亲形象中光辉的一面，并同时融入了西方圣母的形象，最终为我们建构了一个母爱救世的神话；舒婷则经历了时代的另一次震荡：大一统的思想文化语境开始遭到质疑，独立的个体开始若隐若现，其笔下的母亲形象也因此呈现为多位一体的特征，个人关怀与国家／集体关怀相互靠拢又相互抵触；而20世纪末期，中国社会文化的转型表现得更加剧烈和明显，翟永明用带有强烈女性意识及后现代色彩的笔调，力图把母亲形象还原为作为真正个体的女人，解构了所谓的母亲神话，并由此引发人们对女性自我、女性命运乃至整个人类的思考。 通过对三个时期母亲形象的分析，可以看到，把母亲从种种附加的锁链中解脱出来，以作为个体意义上的女人而存在，这成了20世纪女性作家们的一次次艰难而执著的书写。这些书写中的母亲形象，给女性作家提供了镜像意义：对母亲命运的审视，不仅是探讨女性寻找、认识并实现自我的一扇窗口，同时也是(由女性和男性共同组成的)人类认识、把握自身的一个独特视角。更多还原

【Abstract】 Apart from its literal meaning, ’mother’ has, in keeping with China’s tradition to instill certain moral values in its people, an undoubtedly symbolic value. The dissertation you’re about to read selects the poets Bing Xin, Shu Ting and Zhai Yongming who, in different periods of the 20th century, use the metaphor ’mother’, revealing a mutation in understanding according to the social, historical and cultural circumstances of the time they write.In the beginning of last century Bing Xin finds herself somewhere between tradition and future, between old and new, doubting on the one hand the value of the old ’ Mother’-idea, on the other hand she continues to use the image, amalgates it with the Christian ’Holy Mother’- concept, thus creating a myth of a ’Mother’ who saves the world. Shu Ting, experiencing another cultural setting, treats the ’Mother’-concept as partly belonging to the individual who cares and partly as belonging to a collective system. These two parts are clearly in conflict with each other. Towards the end of the century when China experiences socially yet another turn in history, we see Zhai Yongming in a post-modernistic style trying to capture the idea of ’Mother’ as a female individual with a strong self determination, leading mankind into the future.In analyzing the image of ’mother’ in the three given periods we see that the writers have great difficulty to undo the concept from a collective, moralistic charge, and concieve ’mother’as an individual person, fulfilling her own destiny and holding up a mirror to others.更多还原
