【摘要】 本论文运用城市学、建筑学、美学、文化学、城市规划等理论，对城市广场的规划设计进行了分析和探讨，为适合于中国的城市广场设计建设提供一些理论和借鉴。 本文分为四个部分，第一部分对城市与广场进行了概述，追溯了城市广场的演变和发展，分析了城市广场的性质和类型；第二部分从广场的空间形态、空间围合、规模尺度、细部处理等设计构成要素，以及包括建筑、铺地、绿化、雕塑、小品、水景、照明等在内的实体环境具体要素进行一一分析，并进一步从设计原则探讨了城市广场的规划设计，此外，又从城市文化引入广场文化，分析研究了城市广场的文化内涵与文化创造；第三部分就我国城市广场现存的问题进行了剖析，针对这些问题提出了一些相关的对策；第四部分在以上理论结合实例的基础上，进一步以保定市新世纪广场为实例加以分析评价，总结经验，为今后实际工作提供参考。更多还原

【Abstract】 With the rapid development of cities in China, many questions concerning the planning and designing of urban squares have been put forward. With some kinds of theories, such as City Planning, Architecture, Aesthetics, Urban Design etc, this paper assays the plan and design of urban square, and probes a countermeasure, which can be exerted in the urban square design and construction in China.The paper consists of four parts. Part one is a generalization of the cities and squares, a trace back to the evolution and development of urban squares and an analysis of the characteristics and types of urban squares as well. In part two, it firstly offers a detailed analysis of such component elements of design as space and form, space enclosure, dimensions and scale, and minute disposal. And secondly, it includes the analysis of such real surrounding elements as buildings, ground paving, lawn, sketch, waterscape and lighting as well. Thirdly, it is a further study of the plan and design of urban squares based on the design principles and the space design of squares. At last it talks about the cultural connotation and creation of urban squares beginning with the urban cultures, then switching to square culture. Part three probes into the present problems in urban squares in China, and brings forth some corresponding countermeasures. In part four, the paper combines practice and theory by way of illustrating and evaluating the New Century Square in Baoding, thus sums up the experience and provides some constructive reference for the practical work hereafter.更多还原
