异构机群并行计算环境研究及应用

【摘要】 随着计算机应用的广泛与深入,需要处理的数据量越来越大,在单台计算机处理能力有限的情况下,如何能快速、完整的处理这些数据,成为一个亟待解决的问题。并行机的出现,提供了解决这个问题的根本手段。 本论文简要介绍了并行机的发展历史、并行机系统性能的评测,以及极有发展前途的机群并行系统的研究现状。机群并行系统以其良好的可伸缩性和可编程性,以及低廉的价格、极高的性能以及获得的容易性,使其特别适合我国的教育、科研部门使用。 本论文详细探讨了建立机群并行系统的硬件条件以及支撑机群系统并行的软件。特别是对Linux操作系统、并行编程环境MPI、作业管理调度系统PBS作了详细的介绍。本文详述了在异构并行机群系统上开发异构/同构机群并行计算环境的可视化监控和图形化管理平台CVMM(Cluster Visual Monitor and Manager)软件系统的过程以及开发工具。该系统集成了MPI和PBS的部分功能,用于并行任务的发送、系统工作状态监控及并行程序性能分析。 最后,本文给出了π近似值经典并行算法和Wang三对角方程组并行解法分别在有31个节点的同构机群并行系统及6个节点的异构机群并行系统上,用不同节点数及不同问题规模进行试算的结果,并对计算结果进行了分析。

A single cpu computer performance is not enough to process the data quickly and precisely. How to resolve the problem is urgent need. The parallel computer is the final approach to resolve the problem.The brief introduction of the history of parallel computer development and how to test parallel computer performance are introduced in this paper. The paper put emphasis on cluster system. Cluster is one of the parallel computer system which has great excellent development prospects. It has the advantages of less investment, scalability, high flexibility and easily acquired character. It is especially suitable for the most of science research and educational departments of our country.Some technical details of cluster system hardware and software are discussed in this paper, specially in operating system Linux, parallel environment MPI and job manager and schedule system PBS.The detail of how to develop a Cluster Visual Monitor and Manager (CVMM) at a cluster is also given in this paper. The CVMM can send a parallel job, manager cluster work and analyze parallel algorithm performance.Finally, the result and analysis about two algorithms parallel algorithm and Wang tridiagonal equation parallel algorithm run on the cluster are given.
