GABA能神经元在鹌鹑脑内的分布

【摘要】 本文以非鸣禽鹌鹑(Coturnix cotumix japonica)为实验材料,使用GABA单可隆抗体进行免疫组化实验。通过实验定性地说明GABA能神经元在鹌鹑脑内分布,并讨论GABA能神经元在脑内的分布特点及其在听觉、视觉和发声过程中发挥的作用。 实验结果显示在鹌鹑的整个脑区几乎都有GABA样免疫反应。鸟类具有发达的视觉以适应其空中飞翔生活。在中脑视丘及其内侧核团存在GABA能神经元。在视觉功能核团,如SP(nucleus subpretectalis),Imc(nucleus isthmi,pars magnocellularis),Ipc(nucleus isthmi,pars parvocellularis),TeO(tectum opticum)等内有GABA能神经元的分布。鸟类的听觉中枢在其行为支配方面占重要地位。鸟类的听觉与发声有密切的关系。在听觉功能核团,如VLV(nucleus ventralis lemnisci lateralis),Mld(nucleus mesenphalicus lateralis,pars dorsalis)等有GABA能神经元的分布。这些表明抑制性递质GABA在鸟类听觉、视觉及发声的形成中起作用。 在非鸣禽脑内GABA免疫反应的广泛性与其在某些功能核团的存在,表明GABA这种抑制性递质在鸟类脑内信息传递中起重要作用。
【Abstract】 In this paper, GABA-like immunoreactivity (G-LIR) was mapped in the quail (Cotumix coturnix japonica) by means of monoclonal antibody to GABA. We try to show the distribution of GABAergic neurons and discussed their effects.The results show that G-LIR was found almost in the whole brain. Birds haue good eyesights, so they have evolutionary diencephalons. GABAergic neurons were observed in nucleus subpretectalis (SP), nucleus isthmi, pars nagnocelularis (Imc), nucleus isthmi, pars parvocellularis (Ipc), Tectum opticun (TeO). SP, Imc, Ipc and TeO are visual nuclei. There are connections between vocalization and audition. Furthermore GABAergic neurons were observed in nucleus ventralis lemnisci lateralis (VLV) and nucleus nesencephalicus lateralis,pars dorsalis (Mid) too. VLV and Mid are auditory nuclei. These results indicate that GABA plays an important role in communication in the brain.The present results and the existence of GABA in the nonsong bird indicate that it plays an important role in the brain of birds as an inhibitionary neurotransmitter.
