分层空时编码技术研究及其在移动通信系统中的应用

【摘要】 空时处理技术能很好地结合时间处理技术和空间处理技术的特点,这是近年来信号处理领域关注的热点。由于空时处理的优势,移动通信系统正在采用它来抵消系统干扰、改善处理增益、增加小区覆盖范围、减少发射功率、提高系统容量。本论文研究空时处理技术在移动通信系统应用中的空时编码技术。空时编码是指当用多天线分集发射时的信号设计技术,它可以获得最大化的传输空时分集增益。 本文首先介绍了空时编码技术产生的背景和现状,以及目前国际上的一些研究成果:然后介绍了空时信道、空时信号模型的建立;在此基础上,具体讨论了分层空时码的编译码方案,提出了一种性能较好的最小均方误差检测算法,并对三种不同的译码方案进行了性能仿真和比较;然后研究了分层空时码在第三代移动通信系统中的解决方案,提出了分层空时码在话音业务中的解决方案;最后提出了目前存在的问题,以及今后工作的方向。

【Abstract】 Space-time processing technique, which has strong points of both time processing and space processing, is considered as one of the most important field of signal processing. Nowadays, mobile communications are rapidly growing around the world and a number of techniques are employed for canceling interference, improving gain, extending coverage, decreasing transmit power and increasing capacity in mobile communication systems. Among these techniques the most exciting and potentially one is the use of space-time processing. This thesis investigates some problems of space-time processing that applies to mobile communications with emphasis on space-time code techniques. Space-time code is a signal design technique for transmit diversity with antenna arrays, and maximizes the transmit diversity gain.Firstly, this thesis summarizes the background and current studies of space-time code, introduces some research results at present discussed in international fields.Secondly, how to build mobile communication channel and space-time signal model are given.Thirdly, we discuss the encoding and decoding method of layered space-time code in detail, provide MMSE detection methed and compare three decoding methods basing on their performance simulation results.Thirdly, we research the settle scheme of layered space-time code in 3Gpp. provide it’s application in voice service.Lastly, we provide some questions need resolved and the direction of future work.
