光纤光栅应变传感在建筑结构中的应用研究

【摘要】 自光纤光栅问世以来,光纤光栅在传感器方面的应用的研究越来越引起人们的重视。光纤光栅传感器具有不受电磁干扰、灵敏度高、重量轻、结构紧凑等特点。 利用光纤光栅对应力敏感的特性,人们已经开始对结构体系(如楼房、桥梁、铁路、大坝等)进行蒙皮实验,并实施应力(应变)的实时检测与监控。在军事上亦开展了光纤光栅型水听器的研究。本文围绕国家自然科学基金委资助项目、天津科委资助项目及天津建工集团资助项目主要完成了以下工作: 一、详细综述了光纤光栅的发展历程,概述了光纤光栅写入法的研究情况,对光纤光栅进行了分类,并对各类光栅的主要性能和应用做了阐述。 二、从麦克斯韦方程出发详细推导了周期性介质波导的耦合模方程,并在此基础上对光纤光栅进行了理论研究。 三、利用掺铒光纤自行研制了传感用宽带光源,并对其进行了理论上的分析和研究。 四、利用建筑用等强度梁完成了实验室对应变的测量,首次将光纤光栅应变测量同传统的应变测量方法——电阻应变片测量法进行了对比分析,向工程应用研究迈进了一步。 五、介绍了各种光纤光栅的解调方法,并对本课题中所用的解调方案进行了理论分析。

【Abstract】 Since fiber grating emerged, the researches of the application of fiber grating sensors have obtained more and more attentions. Fiber grating has many advantages such as anti-interference in electromagnetism, high-sensitivity, light in weight and compaction in construction. Using fiber grating抯 character of sensitivity for stress, people have done some envelope experiments on structural systems (such as storied buildings, bridge, railway and dam). Real-time detection and monitoring to stress (or strain) of structural systems have been put into effect. Martial researches in fiber grating hydrophone have also been developed. With the subjects supported by National Nature Science Fund Committee, Tianjin Science Committee and Architectural Engineering Group of Tianjin, the main content of this paper is following: I. The development of fiber gratings and the techniques of fabrication have been reviewed. A classification has been made among the existing fiber gratings, and the application of each kind of grating has been introduced as well. II. Based on Maxwell Equations, the coupled-mode of periodic wave-guide has been derived in detail, on which we launched the theoretical research of fiber gratings. III. Using Er-doped fiber, a broad band source was made by ourselves. A theoretical analysis has been made. IV. The measurement of strain based on an equal-intensity beam, which is used in construction research, has been finished in laboratory. Firstly, contrast between the measuring result of fiber gratings and strain foil of electric resistance, which was used traditionally, was made, which made a step forward in application of project. V. Varies ways of demodulation with fiber grating sensors have been reviewed, and theoretical analysis of the demodulation scheme in our experiment has been illustrated.
