【摘要】 《喧哗与骚动》是威廉·福克纳最成功的一部代表作，它充分体现了福克纳在技巧方面的造诣与才华。其中他塑造女主人公凯蒂形象的方法可谓独辟蹊径，使作品达到了理想的文学效果：凯蒂自始至终没有出场，但最终她完整的形象却在读者脑海中活灵活现。本文共分三部分。第一部分确立凯蒂的女主人公地位。第二部分分析小说中四位叙述者展示女主人公凯蒂的方法。第三部分指出作品达到的理想效果。最后，我们得出结论，读者的参与能赋予作品如虎添翼般的效果。更多还原
