基于视觉特性的彩色图像边缘检测及分割技术的研究

【摘要】 颜色是彩色图像的一个重要特征。由于多媒体技术的飞速发展,计算机需要处理大量的彩色图像,其中涉及大量关于颜色的处理,因此,如何从色彩特征出发来处理彩色图像成为图像处理研究的一个重要课题。而彩色图像的边缘检测及色彩分割技术是模式识别的一个重要内容,是计算机实时控制在许多领域应用的基础。 本文从颜色的视觉特征出发,讨论了RGB色彩空间(工业彩色模型,彩色图像在CRT上实现的色彩空间)与HSI色彩空间(视觉彩色模型,与人的色觉相吻合)的转换方法,并建立了转换公式,使得色彩处理更符合人的色彩感觉,处理起来更加方便、高效。在此基础上,利用颜色视觉特征,讨论了彩色图像的边缘检测方法,对彩色图像在几种常用的彩色基中的检测结果进行了比较,并对文献[25]中所应用的彩色基进行了修改,提出了一种有效的边缘检测方法。使得不仅仅能检测出亮度边缘,而且能检测出色彩边缘。同时,采用了模式识别中的距离识别原则,在视觉系统中对彩色图像进行色彩分割。并将彩色图像边缘检测及分割理论应用于印刷控制进行了初步的探论。
【Abstract】 Color is one of the important characteristics of color image. Because of rapiddevelopment of multimedia technology, it needs computer to process lots of color image, ofwhich is related to processing color a lot. So how to process color image from colorcharacteristics has become one important subject of color processing research. Color lmageedge detection and color image segmelltation techniques are important contents of patternrecognition and bases of computer real time control in many fields.This paper rests from visual character, discusses the way of transformation betweenRGB Color Space (industry color model, color space of color image showed in CRT) andHSI Color Space (visual color model, its design reflects the way humans see color), andestablishes transformation formula, which makes it more convenient and efficient to processcolor. On the bases of this, the paper discusses the way of color image edge detection withcolor vision characteristic, compares the results of edge detection in several color formatswidely used and modifies the color format used in literature [25], then brings forward anefficient way of edge detection. Not only the edges in brightness but also edges in hue isdetected in this way. At the same time, the segmentaion of color image in the color visionsystem with the recognition principle of distance nearest is also studied and the result ispreferable satisfactory. In the end, this paper discusses the applications of color image edgedetection and segmentaion theories in printing controlling preliminarily.
