【Abstract】 Ulcerative colitis(UC) is a common chronic inflammatory disorder of the gastrointestinal tract, clinically characterized by abdominal pain, diarrhea, and mucopurulent bloody stools, which significantly impacts patients’ quality of life. Western treatment for UC is single and has many adverse reactions. In contrast, TCM demonstrates definite advantages for the treatment of UC.
