【Abstract】 In the great practice of governance, Xi Jinping attaches great importance to the construction of the Communist Party of China′s(CPC) cultural leadership, and has put forward a series of new ideas and propositions centering on the theme of "why to strengthen the Party′s cultural leadership, what is the Party′s cultural leadership, and how to strengthen the Party′s cultural leadership". In Xi Jinping′s view, the value and significance of building cultural leadership lies in the fact that "propaganda, ideology and culture is an extremely important task"; the goal of building cultural leadership lies in the fact that "the Party′s theories are truly loved, recognized and owned by the people"; the core requirement of building cultural leadership lies in "unifying the adherence to Marxism and the development of Marxism, and constantly making new theoretical creations in light of new practices"; the key link in building cultural leadership lies in integrating socialist core values into social life, so that people can perceive and comprehend them in practice to the extent that they are "used by the people every day without being aware of them"; and the fundamental guarantee of cultural leadership lies in "establishing and adhering to the fundamental system of Marxism′s guiding position in the field of ideology".
