石榴皮提取物复合聚乳酸纤维制备及性能研究
Preparation and Properties of Pomegranate Peel Extract Composite Polylactic Acid Fibers
【摘要】 为探究植物提取物复合功能化聚乳酸纤维的性能,首先将石榴皮提取物与聚乳酸切片混合制成含石榴提取物复合的聚乳酸功能母粒,再将聚乳酸功能母粒与聚乳酸切片共混纺丝制备0.17 tex、38mm石榴皮提取物复合聚乳酸短纤维。通过对复合聚乳酸纤维的表面微观形貌、结晶结构、红外光谱、热学性能、抗菌性能和抗氧化性能的测试,结果表明:石榴皮提取物能够与聚乳酸纤维有效复合;与普通聚乳酸纤维相比,复合聚乳酸纤维结晶度和玻璃化转变温度变化很小,可满足纺丝加工要求;纤维基本力学指标断裂强度为3.85 cN/dtex,断裂伸长率为29.56%,回潮率为1.03%;同时,复合聚乳酸纤维具有良好的抗菌和抗氧化性能(金黄色葡萄球菌的抑菌率为91.5%,DPPH自由基清除率为74.8%)。
【Abstract】 In order to investigate the performance of PLA fibers composite functionalized with plant extracts, the pomegranate peel extract and PLA slices were firstly blended to prepare PLA masterbatch containing composite pomegranate extract. Then, the PLA masterbatch and PLA slices were blended and spun to fabricate pomegranate peel extract composite PLA staple fibers with specifications of 0.17 tex and 38 mm. The surface microscopic morphology,crystalline structure, infrared spectra, thermal properties, antibacterial properties and antioxidant properties of the composite PLA fibers were tested. The results show that pomegranate peel extract can be effectively compounded with PLA fibers. Compared with ordinary PLA fibers, the composite PLA fibers exhibit negligible changes in crystallinity and glass transition temperature, which can meet the requirements of spinning process. The basic mechanical properties of the fibers are as follows: the breaking strength is 3.85 cN/dtex, the breaking elongation is 29.56%, and the moisture regain is 1.03%. Meanwhile, the composite PLA fibers possess excellent antibacterial and antioxidant properties,with the antibacterial rate against Staphylococcus aureus reaching 91.5% and the DPPH free radical scavenging rate of 74.8%.
