【Abstract】 Cause of palindromic rheumatism(PR), an uncommon condition, is unknown. There are currently few available treatments, and its pathophysiology is yet unknown. It lacks established precise treatment methods and standards for evaluating efficacy, making it essentially an empirical treatment. TNF-α contributes to regulation of PR’s inflammatory response and is crucial to immunological milieu of PR. Consequently, TNF-α can be a useful therapeutic target for PR. This paper addresses diagnosis and pathophysiology of PR, analyzes pertinent research, summarizes clinical treatment experience, and investigates potential clinical utility of tumor necrosis factor antagonists in management of PR.更多还原
