【Abstract】 From the theoretical perspective of Translator Behavior Criticism,this paper takes James J.Y.Liu,a Chinese-American scholar,as a case study.It unfolds in several sections,including the distinction between "translator studies" and "studies of translator as figure," the translator behavior of Liu Ruoyu as a critic-translator,Liu’s critical translation under his identity as an interlingual critic,and the criticism of Liu’s translation behavior.The paper discusses the image construction of the critic-translator(critical translator).This study represents the first systematic exploration of the critic-translator’s image,using James J.Y.Liu as a case.It will offer theoretical insights and practical references for translator studies,translation criticism,translator behavior studies,and the practice of disseminating Chinese culture abroad.更多还原
