【Abstract】 The Tsinghua Bamboo Slip text Training Horses is a document transcribed during the mid to late Warring States period. Its content discusses training horses to drive carriages at different speeds and the corresponding dietary arrangements. These records enrich our understanding of horse administration in the pre-Qin period,providing valuable insights for interpreting the “zhi ju”(执驹) ceremony mentioned in the Rites of Zhou(周礼),the Xia Xiaozheng(夏小正),and bronze inscriptions. The text also shows a relatively close relationship with later historical records on the subject. The discovery of Training Horses holds significant importance for the study of horse administration in the state of Chu.更多还原
