铝基硅基含氧酸盐闪烁晶体性能对比分析
Comparative Analysis of Properties of Aluminum-Based and Silicon-Based Oxyanate Scintillation Crystals
【摘要】 闪烁晶体是一类能够在高能粒子或射线作用下产生可见光,并将辐射能量转化为光子的晶体材料。本研究以Ce∶Y3Al5O12(Ce∶LYSO)和Ce∶LuYSiO5(Ce∶YAG)闪烁晶体为研究对象,进行了系统的性能测试。在光产额方面,Ce∶YAG晶体的光产额为52300 ph/MeV,Ce∶LYSO晶体的光产额为27700 ph/MeV。在检测限方面,Ce∶LYSO晶体的最低可检测X射线剂量率为92μGy/s,Ce∶YAG晶体为95μGy/s,这一特性表明2种晶体对低剂量X射线均具有高灵敏度,适合低剂量辐射探测场景。上述数据为Ce∶LYSO和Ce∶YAG闪烁晶体在辐射成像领域的应用提供了重要依据。
【Abstract】 Scintillation crystals are a class of crystalline materials that can generate visible light under the action of high-energy particles or high-energy radiation, and convert the kinetic energy of high-energy particles into light energy. This study takes two types of scintillation crystals, Ce∶Lu YSi O5(Ce∶LYSO) and Ce∶Y3 Al5O12(Ce∶YAG), as the research objects and conducts systematic performance tests. For the light yield, the measurement was conducted using the ORTEC4518 scintillation detector system, and the results showed that the light yield of the Ce∶YAG crystal is 52300 ph/MeV, while that of Ce∶LYSO crystal is 27700 ph/MeV. In terms of detection limits, the measurement was performed using the Lanjing Technology LJ-WF300 low-background multi-channel γ-spectrometer. The results showed that the minimum detectable X-ray dose rate of the Ce∶LYSO crystal is 92 μGy/s, and that of the Ce∶YAG crystal is 95 μGy/s. This characteristic indicates that both crystals exhibit high sensitivity to low-dose X-rays, making them suitable for low-dose radiation detection scenarios. The above data provides an important basis for the application of Ce∶LYSO and Ce∶YAG scintillation crystals in the radiation imaging field.
