【Abstract】 In the era of digital intelligence, big data and models-driven smart medicine have propelled the modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) tongue diagnosis. The quantification of tongue features, as a key step towards achieving objective and standardized tongue diagnosis, has garnered widespread attention. The application of tongue diagnostic instruments has provided strong support for the digitization of TCM clinical information and the establishment of large-sample clinical databases. This article centers on the research process and current situation of the quantification of objective characteristics of tongue images in coronary heart disease(CHD), outlines research achievements in tongue feature extraction and quantification methods, and explores the translation and application of integrating TCM tongue images with clinical data and other multi-parameters in clinical practice.
