【Abstract】 Adhesion is one of the essential properties in the coating industry. Adhesion has a direct relation with the quality of a coating. In order to have a successful coating, the system has to have good tensile and shear and peeling adhesion. Adhesion testing is indispensable for ensuring the long term durability and reliability of the coating. The adhesion should be sufficient so that the coating remains in place for the lifetime in its operating environment. There are several methods that can be used to determine how well a flexible coating is bonded to a rigid substrate. This paper mainly introduces national adhesion test standards for elastic protection coating on rigid substrates, such as metal, etc. It will provide reference for R&D personnel and testers. Meanwhile, it is helpful for revise and setting national adhesion test standards.更多还原
