【摘要】 《英国外交部档案：中国，1949—1976》数据库源于英国国家档案馆，其中核心卷宗FO371(至1966年)与FCO21(1968年以后),系统收录了英国驻华外交机构的往来文电、年度报告与专项文件。这批档案详细记录了英国对华政策的制定、调整、与执行全过程，其中1949—1975年英国驻华外交官撰写的中国国情年度报告，以及关于我国香港、台湾等地区的专项调研文件报告，为研究中英关系提供了一手外文史料。挖掘并运用该批档案具有三重价值：在文献层面，可有效弥补现有研究资料的不足，进一步夯实中英关系研究的文献基础；在研究视角层面，能够依托英国外交官的现场观察与外交研判，为解读1949—1976年中英关系发展脉络提供全新的域外视角；在研究议题层面，可推动中英双边外交博弈、重大历史事件、涉港涉台等关键议题的专题化和深度化研究。秉持客观审慎、批判辨析的原则对该批档案进行考证与运用，能够有效拓展研究边界，推动中英关系史研究走向纵深。更多还原

【Abstract】 The database Foreign Office Files for China, 1949-1976 originates from The National Archives(UK). Its core files FO 371(up to 1966) and FCO 21(after 1968) systematically collect diplomatic correspondence, annual reports and special documents of British diplomatic institutions in China. These archives record the whole process of the formulation, adjustment and implementation of British policies toward China in detail, among which are annual national condition reports compiled by British diplomats stationed in China from 1949 to 1975, together with special research documents on Hong Kong, Taiwan and other regions of China. They provide first-hand foreign historical materials for the research on Sino-British relations. Exploring and applying these archives boasts threefold values. In the documentary dimension, it can remedy the shortage of existing research data and consolidate the documentary foundation of Sino-British relations research. In the perspective dimension, field observations and diplomatic judgments of British diplomats offer a brand-new external perspective to analyze the development context of Sino-British relations between 1949 and 1976. In the topic dimension, it facilitates specialized and in-depth research on bilateral diplomatic games, major historical events and key issues related to Hong Kong and Taiwan. Examining and employing the archives based on objective, prudent and critical principles can effectively broaden research boundaries and advance the in-depth development of Sino-British relations history research.更多还原
