【Abstract】 Oleanolic acid(OA) is a pentacyclic triterpenoid compound widely distributed in fruits, vegetables, and Chinese medicinal herbs. It possesses multiple biological activities, such as anti-oxidative stress, immune enhancement, anti-cancer, hepatoprotection, and nephroprotection, and is commonly used as a therapeutic agent for liver injury. In livestock and poultry production, numerous studies have demonstrated that dietary supplementation with OA can improve the reproductive and production performance of animals. This paper aims to review the physiological functions, action mechanisms of OA, as well as its application effects and optimal dosage range in livestock and poultry production.更多还原
