【Abstract】 "Treating different diseases with same method" is the theoretical principle of syndrome differentiation and treatment in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), and is also the therapeutic method in clinical practice. Different diseases can be treated with the same therapeutic method because their internal pathogenesis is similar. Kidney is the foundation of congenital constitution and the source of Tiangui(a substance related to the growth, development, and reproductive function in TCM). Kidney-qi deficiency and insufficiency of kidney essence are the main pathological basis of sex hormone-related diseases. The occurrence and development of breast cancer and prostate cancer is closely related to kidney, and treating breast cancer and prostate cancer from the perspective of the kidney is widely applied in clinical practice. "Treating from kidney" is the theoretical basis for "treating different diseases with same method" of the breast cancer and prostate cancer, and it provides a practical guidance for the treatment of breast cancer and prostate cancer with the principle of "treating different diseases with same method" in TCM.更多还原
