赤泥改性生物炭对水中亚甲基蓝的吸附性能研究

【摘要】 以烟草秸秆和赤泥为热解原料,在800℃下制备了赤泥改性生物炭(RMBC),用于去除水中的亚甲基蓝。采用FT-IR、XRD、XPS和SEM对RMBC进行表征,并研究了亚甲基蓝溶液pH、初始浓度和反应时间对亚甲基蓝去除率的影响。结果表明,RMBC具有多孔结构,表面存在O-H键、C=O键、π-π键和O=C-O键等活性位点。RMBC2:1对亚甲基蓝的吸附效果最佳,当初始浓度为200 mg/L,pH=12时,去除率达到99%。吸附过程符合准二级动力学模型和Langmuir等温吸附模型,是一个涉及化学吸附的放热反应。在吸附过程中存在静电吸引、π-π相互作用、氢键和阳离子交换等作用,使RMBC能够有效吸附亚甲基蓝。赤泥和烟草秸秆共热解制备RMBC,为高效治理亚甲基蓝污染提供了一种新材料。

【Abstract】 Red mud modified biochar(RMBC) was synthesized at 800 °C using tobacco straw and red mud as pyrolysis raw materials for the removal of methylene blue(MB) from water. RMBC was characterized using FTIR, XRD, XPS, and SEM, and the influence of pH, initial concentration, and reaction time on the removal of MB from water by RMBC was studied. The results indicated that RMBC possessed a porous architecture, with O-H, C=O, π-π, and O=C-O active sites present on its surface. RMBC2:1 exhibited the most effective adsorption capacity for MB. At an initial concentration of 200 mg/L and a pH of 12, the removal efficiency achieved an rate of 99%. The adsorption process conformed to the quasi secondary kinetic model and the Langmuir model, characterized as an exothermic reaction involving chemical adsorption. There were electrostatic attraction, π-π interaction, H-bonding and cation exchange in the adsorption process, thus, RMBC demonstrated effective adsorption of MB. The co-pyrolysis of red mud and tobacco straw to produce RMBC offers a novel material for the effective remediation of MB pollution.
